No, no, no. Stay away from this branch. This isn’t the ramblings of some “crazy”, this is a culmination of time over ineptitude and lack of effort by everyone at this branch. From closing a zero-balance business account used for auditing purposes without any notification whatsoever, to making an appointment with a personal banker only to show up and find out she took the day off and no one informed us, to not understanding how to do a wire transfer correctly (which I looked up and printed off in 30 seconds, gave to them so they could do step by step process), to setting limits on daily spending transactions (“it was in the initial paperwork”), to sending a new bank card to the wrong address, to my personal favorite...the true definition of “banker’s hours”, any issues during the weekend or after 5:00pm on weekdays, you will not be able to talk to a customer service agent. No one. Let that sink in for a minute. Imagine having an emergency on a weekend and you have no one to talk to until Monday. How do bankers not know how to...uh, bank?? Anything more than a simple deposit/withdrawal, and they become completely out of their depths. Deer in headlights. I have another account with Chase, and although I am not about the big conglomerate national banks, the Chase folks on Randall have always been personable and given the effort warranted, much more like a local bank than this branch. They (Chase) may not always be able to help, but they at least try and help, find out answers, problem solve. I initially opened an account with 5/3 because Chase consolidated their 2 Batavia branches and I wanted something close to the office in the center of town. Bad mistake on my part...all those problems listed above (and more) was just over the last 2 years. Save yourself the agony. Find somewhere, anywhere besides this branch. Keep your money under your mattress or with your cousin Tony who has a “can’t miss financial opportunity”...anywhere but here. For the love of everything holy, stay away. Worst. Banking. Experience. Ever.
