I waited 15 minutes before I left this place, two people walked in and one of the stylists immediately checked them in, whilst ignoring me. I got up and left.

Decent basic cut for $16, I needed better tapering and will ask for it next time. I have upgraded the rating because Juanita has been outstanding in tapering edges. Plus the eyebrow trim is above and beyond. Service: Hairstyling

Usually great experiences when we come to this location even though there is one closer to our home. Except when we came on 3/6 at around 645 pm for the family haircuts (4). We thought it would be understandable to go in even though they close at 9 pm and two of the haircuts would’ve been for children. But when we walked in the lady with the shorter black hair seemed very ticked off when she was putting us all on the waitlist. But then after she finished signing us in she said with a visible attitude “There is only two of us here right now so it will be a while to get to the last person”. We had already seen that there were only 2 of the people working so we had already prepared ourselves for the wait. After that she went back to her customer, and kept visibly looking at us annoyed and then at her watch not fully focusing on the customer. We felt so uncomfortable and not welcomed. So trying to eliminate the risk of her possibly messing up one of our haircuts, we took our business to the Carol Stream Great Clips.

My daughter said it perfectly in her review as well... but we came to this location bc we've been coming there for a few years. Came at a reasonable time about 6:45 and they closed at 9, but we we're prepared to wait for a family of 4! The stylist looked visibly bothered that we we're there, kept looking at her watch and us not even paying attention to her current customer. I walked out as I did not want to bring my business to that stylist. Went to the Carol Stream location which is closer to my house and I got in and out within an hour. AND one stylist took 2 of my daughters and my self and still got done within an hour! Sorry to the rest of the employees who have lost our business at the Bloomindale location for this one person's unprofessionalism! Made my family I feel super uncomfortable!!

As a woman with long hair, I'm always nervous about going to a cheaper salon. This place worked great! The woman who cut my hair understood my needs and met them without fuss. If you're looking to really change up your look, you should probably go somewhere fancier, but for a quick trim, it's perfect and affordable. I definitely recommend checking in online to avoid a long wait.

The hair I chose turned out to be great! Although I did have some hair stuck on my sweater and shirt, I was still satisfied with what the man had done with my cut. Nice conversation with him as well, plus some good advice I got to make my hair look better and healthier.

I arrived with a 1 min est wait time, and when I checked in,I showed #We 1 on the list, but #2 was taken before me. I ended up waiting 15 min before I got in a chair. Why bother with the app if I still need to wait??? At least i had some time to find another place to get my hair cut nearby for next time. Maria, however, did a good job with my cut tho.

I came in only wanting an inch cut off from the ends. My stylist was Cindy and man that was not what I left with. From the moment I walked into the store she just seemed to have an angry attitude, off putting. A fellow co worker was helping her and she was throwing daggers with her eyes. She ended up cutting off like 3 inches off my hair, while using half the bottle of leave-in conditioner. Resulting in my hair having a really rough and greasy texture after, the feeling when you don't wash all the conditioner out of your hair. As she was cutting my hair she was really rough and took no caution to my scalp. When she was blow drying my hair she put the blow dryer right next to my scalp pretty much burning it. With this experience it's safe to say i'll never be coming to this location again. If I wanted to get a refund i'd have to drive all the way back to the salon. Sorry but I don't have the time to do that. Should have just done what I asked for.
