I love going to Saunoris. All of the employees are super nice and helpful. Their planters, hanging baskets and selection of annuals and vegetables are great. They typically have planters for spring, autumn and Christmas time. It’s a great place to shop and support a local small business.

Overall a decent garden center. The staff is always friendly, prices on plantings and fill material are not outrageous. They lost my business for a while during the height of the pandemic because they wouldn't let employees wear masks. But now that cases are low its safe enough. My kid loves running around there and nobody seems to mind, added plus.

I have used Saunoris for yard materials as well as plants for 20 years now and have always been pleased with their materials and service. Pricing leans towards the high side but quality is excellent.

FORMER EMPLOYEE OVERALL WORK EXPERIENCE AND SERVICE REVIEW I actually worked here over the summer for a short period and I have to say that the first month or so was exceptional in the fact that customers were tipping. I guess I was too heavily reliant on that and eventually the tips stopped coming in altogether. The work they have you do is tedious and feels more like exhausting busy work. I lost a severe amount of weight working there. Eventually, it got to the point where I broke down in the bathroom. It just wasn’t fair that they were paying minimum wage for a labor intensive job. Although I partially blame the customers for my breakdown because they simply would not tip no matter how courteous I was after the first few months. Something I noticed while there was that there were quite a few complaints from customers’ plants dying shortly after they purchased them from there. I’m not trying to out them, just saying you should be wary. Overall, working conditions here weren’t great, but reviewing this place overall based on work experience and overall service and quality: They take care of their employees with free pizza on the weekends and are very good with their discounts. (However, we work to get paid, not fed. That responsibility belongs to us. I frequently wondered while working there that maybe if they didn’t spend so much on pizza every week that they could afford to pay us more.) The products are very good overall, even though shipments weren’t coming in as planned while I was there, mainly due to COVID and other unrelated things. I do not have anything against the owner or any employees. It was a very friendly environment. It just wasn’t sustainable for me. While there are pros and cons, the cons slightly outweigh the pros. They are thinking about selling the place, so maybe that’s an indication of how things are going (or it could just be time for retirement). But I would still support them. Work experience: 2/5 Overall service: 4/5 Overall rating: 3/5 Thanks for your time.
