The American assistant couldn’t pronounce my name (Josh) and then gave me a hematoma after wiggling the needle in my vein and removing the needle before removing the tourniquet.

Out of all of the covid testing sites This place is the most complicated place of ordering a COVID test. For one you're thinking you making an appointment for COVID testing that will automatically generate or order to get tested. All you doing is just making appointment You still have to go back on the website, and order a order to get tested. The staff doesn't know how to navigate the website to order the test. It's just overall complicated! where a drive-through, CVS, Walgreens anywhere else is not that complicated to get tested It's easy to navigate the website. Do better it's hella frustrating

Quest is a disaster! 1. Ember was rude. 2. Then I can never retrieve my results in my portal, and your customer service cannot find my results, because Request Results "Submit" button is always shaded. What a mess!!!

I had an appointment. Was not called in for over hour of waiting. About dozen folks who signed in after me were taken. Upon checking multiple times, they said they wrong name! Look for options if you could. Its a working day. Even after that, I’m waiting!!

I visited a new primary care physician in October and specifically requested that my visit be an annual wellness exam as defined by Blue Cross Blue Shield of IL. My now former primary care physician either intentionally or inadvertently entered the wrong code when he submitted his request for blood work. When I brought this to his attention, his secretary promised to revise the code but complained that Quest is very difficult to communicate with as they have long hold times and often unfriendly representatives. In late January, the doctor's secretary claimed that she successfully called Quest and revised the code. Shortly afterward, I received another bill and contacted Quest to inquire. I experienced not only long wait times, but absolutely needlessly angry and rude representatives, one of whom hung up on me. I have appealed the doctor's wrong code and filed complaints against him, but Quest keeps sending nasty reminders despite the fact that I have informed them of the billing dispute now repeatedly. I received another notice from them today. Something must be seriously wrong with this organization's work environment if only 1 out of 3 representatives behaves like a civilized human being on the phone. With such spotty and stressful customer service, it's fair to wonder how competent they are in their labs. Ask your physician if he uses Quest, and if he does, ask him to choose another lab for your bloodwork!

After two doctor appointments to get a blood test at my doctor and they could not draw the blood, I went to Quest in Gurnee. Angela Z took time to make sure she was able to get the blood sample. She was very pleasant and professional. I made an appointment online and it took about 15 minutes to be seen. Excellent experience.

Had an issue that needed to be resolved, staff did not want to help at all. They called the police. Police tried to advocate for me but staff was out of line and refused service despite the officers helping me find solutions to my issue (just needed to print my insurance card and the officers were kind enough to inform me of the nearest library since my phone was dead and I wasn’t from the area). I was sitting there chilling just trying to figure out this issue but handling it with purpose because they could have tried to be more helpful or kind about the situation. meanwhile the staff was heated.... Staff was only worried about their large waiting room and not you as a person. I was requesting additional assistance and it was easier to just push me away to move on to the next people. They said they were going to try to call my doctor, but asked me to wait back in the waiting room so they could serve other patients. They didn’t have anyone else working besides one other lab tech, so if they were helping those people, who would be calling? Nobody. I probably would’ve sat there until they closed. I mean I can thank them for letting me know to no longer support this company at least. Life is too short to waste money for poor service.

When you check in there is an option to wait outside with the indication that you will receive a text message when they are ready to see you. I waited by the elevator for 25 minutes because there were a lot of people in a very small waiting space and I never received a text notification. Someone finally went out and shouted my name so I walked in. When I got to the waiting area she said I had to wait because someone got there before me and that they had already called my name 3 times before that. Maybe they did call my name but I was not in the waiting area since that was an option. That whole process is very inconvenient not to mention there isn’t a receptionist to check you in nor a sign that tells you to do it yourself through a portal. Chose this place for location convenience but this will be the last time I will be going there.

Went once, and was simple and clean. Had to go another time for a test my doc ordered, and they said they couldn't do it even though online it says they perform those tests. Wasnt directed to anyone who could do it, nor did the person who saw me seem to care. Wouldve given it 1 star if my first experience wasn't so good. Dont use Quest for anything other than drug tests because medically they are not prepared

This place needs better management and procedures. There are a over 10 people waiting in the small waiting room during COVID-19 peaks. I came to drop off a blood sample and still waited over 30 minutes. Makes no sense to have so many people in a small room with the current COVID-19 restrictions.
