This place has great prices on lunch meat. The prices on their fresh meat are awesomely priced. The workers are very nice.

We love Angelo's. They have such great deals on lunch meat or from their butcher section. Watch their sales because sometimes they offer things for such good prices..like avocado's. No one else in the area carries some of the items they carry like bulk gyros meat. They have frozen fish that is really good too! The staff always seems to be happy as well. Its also nice that they usually have the deli well staffed compared to Jewel where you wait 30 minutes for something and no one seems to want to wait on you.

Best meat and deli in McHenry county! Watch for sales. They are genuine and include deli, chicken, beef and pork. Veggies and fruits are fresh and not gassed. If it's not fresh, they dont stock it. No more less or expensive then the chain markets, but better quality.

What can I say about Angelo's nothing but Awesome very clean store wonderful friendly staff great prices wonderful produce 👍 I love it when they have there chicken breast on sale for.99 cents a 1b you can not beet that price anywhere there potatoes are always a great price and there bottled water prices when on sale 👍 you can't beat the price great handicap accessible parking close to the dollar general and the dollar tree so you can get great savings all around.

I WOULD NOT give this place 1 STAR for their cashier, "Kathy," but WAS FORCED to do so IN ORDER TO WRITE THIS REVIEW!! I went through the express checkout (15 items or less) this afternoon (6/21/17) and "Kathy," the Cashier, immediately noticed the beer at the bottom of my cart, called it out to me and rang it up BEFORE I could place ANY of the additional items inside my cart on the counter for her to scan. When I placed the remaining items from my cart on the counter, ALL but 1 item (fabric softener) was FOOD. Once "Kathy" scanned those items and I pulled out my food share card to make the purchase... (knowing food share pays ONLY for "food" items... not fabric softener, alcohol, etc...), not only was "Kathy" IRRITATED that she had to CANCEL the transaction and RE-RING it due to HER premature actions of including the beer, but she stated, for ALL surrounding customers to hear, (and I quote) "If you can afford BEER, then you shouldn't be entitled to food share!" HOW DARE SHE "JUDGE" ME! Whether the beer was for me, or I purchased it for someone else, that's NOT the point! She had NO RIGHT to verbally HUMILIATE me in front of other customers!!!! When I got home, after stewing on the entire scenario, I called the Owner... "Maria"... She told me, once I explained the entire situation and after putting me on hold to speak with "Kathy," there "Must have been a misunderstanding!" Ummmm, NO!!!

We'd never eat meat, chicken or fish if it weren't for Angelo's prices. Their produce tends to be the best priced also. The deli prices are great, never had a problem with the bakery and their hot kitchen items are amazing (if you get them fairly fresh). Try the pepper and egg sandwiches. Amazing deal. Helps us to eat decent, nutritious meals. Thanks Angelos!

Overall I like Angelo's....but, I have gotten spoiled products from their bakery (it is not made in house- at least that is what the Mgr said when I complained) So I never go to the kitchen area to shop. I also buy Hamburger and Ground Pork the day I will use it as I have gotten some pretty nasty packages in the past, and no they were not marked as Managers specials. Their prices are reasonable.....but do watch out for freshness.

My family has been shopping at Angelos for years and we have always been happy with the quality of their produce, great customer service and excellent prices. Because of our experiences with them in the past and my LOVE of their Eggplant Parmesan, I chose to use them to cater my wedding this past weekend in McHenry. They were EXCELLENT! Angelo went over the order with me personally to be sure we would have something for everyone on the menu. The food was SUPERB, all of my guests were happy! And the Angelos staff, as always, did not disappoint with their professionalism and efficiency. I am very pleased I chose to go with Angelos for my wedding catering, and could not imagine a better outcome for the day! Thank you!
