Worst ever! Lines take forever, always on hold when calling to ask a question for over 20min. Messed up one of my sons prescriptions with another script.

This is by far the worst customer services Walgreens in the McHenry area. They DO NOT answer their phones. When it rings, they pick it up and then put you right back on hold. Today after 25 minutes they FINALLY answered. When I questioned why this always happens the girl simply said" we have like 10 people on hold" I instructed her though when you pick up the phone before putting somebody back on hold for a fifth or sixth time you might want to just take five seconds to say to the customer I apologize but we need to put you back on hold. Her exact words were yeah we don't have time for that, so that shows if they don't have 5 seconds to acknowledge their customer that there is a complete lack of customer service training at this location and this is been a chronic problem for the last year and a half.🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️😡😡

Useless,incompetent, sorry excuse for a place of business. I left this pharmacy due to their incompetent nature. Went to CVS across the street for 3 years not one problem, NOT ONE!!! I switch back to Walgreens due to insurance. Literally the first affiliation I have with this location, they screw it up and I am without my much needed bipolar medication.i can't believe any business being the violently incompetent.

The older lady with black hair is the worse !! She continues to talk as her line is accruing.With no care in the world some or should I say most of these prescriptions you're filling are very important to people and need to be done in a timely matter and efficiently..Example my prescription was for my 7yr old child who needed surguery in 2 days and needed antibiotics and pain medication and your Just yapping away.Hey that's fine if your line ain't 15 customers. Submitted a prescription request and confirmed with my doctor they submitted that earlier in the day 4pm. This was an emergency script due to a surgery the following day. Went to pick up my prescription at 7pm and was told it wouldn't be ready until 8pm. Went back at 8pm and it still wasn't ready and kept being told "we're still working on it". Very rude staff and not attentive to costumer circumstances.

The absolute worst pharmacy. Nothing personal against the poor employees that work at that location they im sure do as best as they can. Poorly managed corporation. Dont bother calling you be on hold for 30 minutes just to eventually get hung up on.

Backdoor city. If you want anything that’s tough to find just go elsewhere. Multiple employees working together for the purpose of reselling items for more on eBay. I ran a little test on them with Cross reference upc’s and they failed miserably. Not only did they lie and try to fill my order with items I did not order, they also told me it’s all done by their system…not so. An employee goes to shelf and scans. If it was cross ref upc it would be fine. Since they are all separate, that means u have employees switching the products around. Happens all the time. Disgusting. Waste of time. The little Gurl I spoke with had a attitude so she got embarrassed fast. Sorry but you had it coming

This is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever been involved with. Today's adventure involved over 2 hours on hold between the store and the toll free number to get a current update on a prescription I tried to refill 2 days ago. He tries saying I don't have an account there. I've been receiving prescriptions for 3 years from this walgreens. Finally told that they don't show my insurance information or it couldn't be read so I would have to go down to the store. When I arrived at the store I'm told that they got it figured out. Thanks for not knowing how to do your job!

This is the WORST Walgreens I've ever visited. I really go here because it's 2 mins from my house, but the wait times in the drive through can be up to 45 mins. The staff is rude, short, and less than helpful. You MAYBE get 1 or 2 really nice people but it so inconsistent. You let a manager know and nothing changes. You ask them to fill a prescription and they can't even do that. Also- warning- don't leave your paper prescriptions behind unless you know they'll fill it, or they'll wind up throwing it away and having to pull it out of the trash. You ask them to check other Walgreens for the refill if they don't have it? Oh no they can't do that either but of course that depends on the employee you get and if they are feeling generous that day. This place is just worthless
