I've been eating at this restaurant for the last 5 years and always had a good experience, however yesterday's meal was terrible. The restaurant was about 2/3 full on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered street tacos with rice & beans, my wife ordered the taquito plate & my daughter had a chicken Taco. The first issue was that the taquitos were burnt and not really wrapped correctly. (See picture) My food was barely warm to cold, so was my daughter's taco. The quality of our meals was so poor that both my wife and I thought they must have changed ownership, so I asked the cashier if they had new owners. The answer was no, same owners. Unfortunately, it looks like I will have to find a new Mexican restaurant, and I can no longer recommend this establishment. 😡

If you are looking for sub par mexican food, this is the place for you. Chips were stale, queso was watery, steak was chewy, and service was non existent. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Some of the worst steak tacos ive ever had.

Best frozen margarita I've ever had. (not flavored). 3 dollars at lunch. Street tacos also excellent comes with a chipotle hot sauce phenomenal. Chips came out hot. Possibly the best tortilla chips I've ever had. Salsa has a kick. Keeps the water and drinks flowing. Second time here I came back here specifically because first time was so good thank you for amazing service !

One of my most favorite Mexican restaurants. Food is always fresh and the service is quick. I received a gift card for my birthday at this restaurant and for three people with entrees it was under $40.

Love this place!! Chicken Chims are delicious. The flan is AMAZING and the fried ice cream is good. Salsa and chips are tasty

Excellent food and huge drinks for a very reasonable price. We had Texas Fajitas and Chimichanga, we both loved it... I personally would have enjoyed more tortillas, not just 4, that would have granted the 5th star. But the quality was excellent.

Second time we’ve been here. First time the food wasn’t that good with exception to the steak. Second time SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE! Our waiter was busing tables, which was unnecessary because someone else was doing it, therefore he completely neglected us: no extra napkins, no drink refills, TOOK 40 MINUTES TO TAKE OUR ORDER! I asked for sour cream on my tacos- IT WAS DROWNING IN SOUR CREAM, made it almost inedible. WE WONT BE BACK!

A local favorite. The service is always great, the food comes out super fast (less than 10 minutes after ordering), and the food is consistently good and exactly what you would expect. While not my first choice of local Mexican Restaurants, it is still a very enjoyable experience! Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu. The taco rice and beans is one of the best deals on the menu. They also have a kids burrito. The servers are always very friendly to the kids. I also think it is a great atmosphere for the kids to get an idea of Mexican culture.

I’m on the road constantly and like to stop for take out chips and salsa. One front attendant was strict about not letting me taste the salsas and was not friendly. The little tiny container size was $2. They have 4-5 different salsas (good variation). Manager was friendly but also strict. Let me taste test at the empty bar. They have good salsa. The regular one is really good. One of the best I’ve tasted in the State of Illinois!

Service was good, the food was not so good. I got the street style chorizo tacos, the chorizo was very dry and over all not great the corn tortillas (which I normally love) were horrible. The salsa was very tomato-y and bland, the refried beans were extremely bland and had no flavor. From other reviews I had high expectations and am leaving unsatisfied if you’re looking for good authentic Mexican food try somewhere else. Prices were too high for such bland food. They do have some traditional candy up front worth grabbing tho
