Genuinely, the worst customer service at this forever 21 store. Two times I’ve been denied entry into the store. The employees tell you the store is closed yet, their hours show they are open and with people still shopping in the store. I checked the time and told the employee it shows hours of operation say it’s open. He stood in my way and told me that they are actually closed. We’re talking up to 30 minutes early! I would understand if it was 2, or 5 minutes, but half an hour! The other time this happened I asked if I could speak to the manager and he said he was the manager. I’m surprised this issue has not been addressed and no one else has complained about this. While the mall is open, this store is turning away customers. The fitting rooms are always dirty with dust, tags, and clothes on the floor. You have to wait long for the fitting rooms if you find someone to assist you. Employees make you feel like you’ve inconvenienced them, just straight rude. The layout of the store is a mess and overwhelming. Yes, once in a while you have those rare and cheap finds, however you do sacrifice quality. Check out lines are long and by the time you get to check out, your helped (if you can call it that) by a disgruntled employee that would rather be doing anything else but help you. To reiterate, the customer service is truly garbage. If you are employed, and getting paid, to work at a retail store, and are given a shift, you should work that said shift. Not block paying customers from shopping because you want to go home early.

Embarrassing! I placed an order for pick-up and they can’t give a tracking number bc it gets bulk-shipped so they told me that I have to keep reaching out to customer service for tracking updates. The delivery date was changed from 6/2 to 6/6 and then 6/7. It’s 6/8 now and this morning customer service said it’s been delivered but the store says they don’t have it. Upon asking again, the rep said they don’t have it and tracking says it’s been shipped and no other history as of 5/27. Then he said they got a shipment in the other day so “it might be in that box”. Good thing I asked again because he went to look through it and finally found it. Not totally his fault, but are they that short staffed/not trained/don’t care - that orders just sit there for days without anyone unpacking? How freaking disorganized is this company?? Safe to say I won’t be ordering anything again. Sad because I used to buy from here all the time, but literally having to reach out just to track my order 4+ times is a waste of my time.

I visited here recently and the place was horrendous. Clothes scattered everywhere, some in places they aren't supposed to be placed in, I even had accidentally stepped on numerous empty hangers on the floor, missing items from packaging and unorganized displays. The shoe section was by far the worst. They were all over the floor and were not put back from where they came from. There were so many cups left from other customers on shelves and even bags from other stores. The customer service was unprofessional and when checking out, the cashier seemed very clueless to what he was doing, very upsetting.

If you are considering applying for a job here, DONT. I worked here for a couple months last summer and it was by far the worst job I have ever had. We were overworked and underpaid and had to deal with awful management and unsafe working conditions. I worked here from June to September and the entire time our AC was broken, sales floor would easily be 90°+ and we weren’t allowed to have WATER. We were allowed to take a quick trip to the water fountain but when you’re in charge of the fitting rooms or at the register alone or with one other person you can’t really afford to run across the store for a water break. Another coworker of mine got heat exhaustion (twice) and I saw a customer PASS OUT IN LINE from the heat. And the only fan that we had was, go figure, put in the managers office. I eventually contacted OSHA and they confirmed that these were unlawful working conditions but by the time I got that reply I had already quit because the job had taken such a toll on my mental health. I cannot say enough bad things about my experience working here. I hope it’s different now, but I doubt it.

12/2020 We don't shop here often. Needed help finding something for two girls in the family. Found good deals on what we got. But special mention goes out to both Nina and Daisy. They helped us out a lot! Very pleasant smiles, great attitudes, and knowledgeable about their store. Nina and Daisy were amazing. They made my wife and want to come back and shop there again! Thanks for being so friendly and helpful.

The clothes is so cheap. The staff is not friendly and they’re lazy. I went in to pick up an online order and the girl didn’t even want to help me she looked annoyed and didn’t even know what she was doing. This store has changed so much for the worse!

My daughter went to orientation and then worked one shift. She said she got no training and was left on her own and the other staff was a bit rude to her. She decided that day she would start looking elsewhere. The manager said she would get a call with her schedule on the weekend. Well, she didn’t get a call. Then the next week she saw got a call while driving and it went to voicemail (as it should). She got home and listened to the voicemail which said she was scheduled to work that day (in 2 hours). I can only assume that someone called in and they finally remembered her. She didn’t go. I bugged her to call about her check and 2 weeks later she called (this was 3 weeks after she worked). My daughter was actually shocked and surprised that no one had called her in 3 weeks to follow up with her (me too, knowing retail has high turnover). The manager thought she was calling to work again. Nope, just her check. So, it turns out, they never finished putting her in the system because an email was supposed to go to her to finish her onboarding. She never got the email, so she didn’t know, and no one ever followed up to tell her. Here we are almost a month later and she hasn’t been paid. I’m filing a complaint with the Illinois Dept of Labor. This place is a joke.

Lots of variety and styles. Super cute clothes for teens and up. Great price points and sales. My only recommendation is to have more staff in the store on the registers, so there won't be a long line every visit to the store.

I love this store! It's always the first place I go to when I'm at the mall. Make sure to check out the clearance section, all lot of times you'll find really good stuff. I got 2 six dollar hoodies and they are very good quality. The skirts are a little bit short for me to wear at school unfortunately. :( But other than that this store is really awesome!
