I paid a premium to have an item quickly shipped and opted out of having signature required upon delivery. Yet, they left a pink slip stating they required an authorized recipient. When I called after getting the message delivery had failed, they said they'd get it delivered today. They did not. Very disappointed in what I paid for and what this USPS office has put out as a product. Terrible experience.

on Sunday, June 19th, I bought fruit and veggie seeds from Amazon and three other sellers. The first order, Amazon, came in around the same time the seeds from another company was delivered by the USPS. Says it was in or at my mailbox, problem is it's nowhere to be found. I have NEVER had an item be "Delivered" yet i cannot find it. Sure the seeds didn't cost much, but I expect to receive all my items in orderly time. This isn't the first time I had to deal with this specific post office on getting my stuff as they have a history of "losing" people packages and if they're caught, i pray people sue the suspect doing it.

Used racial slurs and was very rude (I mean woke up and chose violence) even while greeting in a friendly manner. I recently established a post office box there and paid for 6 months. I did this because I was traveling. Went in in November and checked the box, which is usually 95% advertisement material that I have zero interest in by the way, and retrieved my mail. I returned a little over a week later to find the box had been closed!? I go to the agent and they indicate that any mail that was sent there would be returned. ??? I received no notice or indication of this. So there were some holiday items I was expecting as well as Bank card issues ETC.. you know life! And their incompetence has completely caused pain in the rear end disruptions. Then the "supervisor" was supposed to call me about reestablishing the PO box, because they wanted to charge me a $30 late fee, but and I never received a call. The post office has been extremely disappointing and I see there's a trend. Life isn't fair, but government must be in order to have a civilized society.

Went to USPS for a slightly complicated order and was greeted with the nicest, most helpful, and informative employee. Jackie went above and beyond to keep the office running smoothly. She was the only one on the floor and kept the line moving. She was able to help me understand the best service USPS had to offer for my request and was willing to step me through it. She kept a very positive attitude towards all customers during the entire experience. Employees like this are the reason I will be coming back to this location for all my shopping needs.

It's not remotely correct and now I'm stuck with a $16 Intercept Fee amongst the fee I already paid to mail and insure the package. Around next weekend, the package might get back to me. It will take a week to resale, another week to mail, and two weeks after that for the money (that I'm having to refund as I type this) to clear Huge impact on my life, a minor inconvenience for them. And this all happened because they were annoyed by me bringing business to their store, and daring to ask if the (now confirmed incorrect address) was in fact correct.

Too, some of the nastiest and most demanding people I encounter anywhere also live right here. The Post Office is staffed with public service hourly wage earners. I'll bet that many couldn't even afford to live in the same neighborhoods as the one star reviewers on here. The Carmel Post Office is too small, even after the remodel. It's not their fault. When it gets busy and the line gets long, the snarky customers get started. I have never, ever been treated poorly there. They're clearly overworked employees, doing a very thankless job. We've gotten passports there, and everything was always professionally handled. I think a better approach on here is to show some gratitude and thank the Carmel Postal workers for doing a fine job handling the mountain of mail that they see every day. If you want to go to the happiest place on Earth, go to Disneyworld. Meanwhile, smile and say a few kind words to our Post Office workers when you see them.

I use this post office when I'm at work. It is clean and well stocked. Sometimes there is a wait, but the staff are professional and keep things moving. I can't speak for mail delivery service in the area, but service within the post office building itself is great for a post office.
