I rented a car through my companies contract, and during my trip ended up with a flat tire. I later found a charge for a "tire expense" for $150.00 on my bill. When I called to have it removed, I was told, "You are correct that you should not have been charged that and you will be credited." I never received a credit and when I called back, I was told I was getting no credit and my company did not have accident coverage (which is not true based on many past rentals).
I will avoid Hertz rentals in future. Avis just makes issue resolution easier. ~M
