They did a great job for me. I drove it to Florida the day after I got it back and it worked great.

Clutch cable snapped in town. Drove there and as soon as the first rack was open the put my car on the lift. Found out what the problem was, got a cable from local parts store installed it and out the door for $120.00. Thank you so much for helping me out right away since I was sight seeing and my base camp was in Johnny Appleseed State Park. Clutch works great. If I lived there, you would get all my transmission business.

I called around to many different transmission shops in a 45 minute radius of my home. L& S is the only transmission shop north of Indianapolis who was willing and able to rebuild a Honda transmission. They even towed my car about about 25 miles the very next day to get it from my house to their shop. The communication between L&S and myself was great, the quote was reliable and very fairly price ($2,000 less than most others, since they could rebuild the transmission and not buy an entire new transmission), and I love that I have a warranty for my transmission for 12,000 miles or one year. The turn around time of just a bit over a week between when my car was towed to the shop and the time I got my car back was also quite impressive. I'm very pleased with L&S and plan to use them for any future car repairs while I'm in the Huntington area and will recommend them to colleagues, friends, and family.

I called to get a quote on replacing my clutch cable on my Kia Rio last Friday. After speaking with "Primo" at L&S he told me it would cost me $150-$200 to order the part (it would have to come from a Kia dealership) and another $150 for labor he told me I was looking at around $350 to replace it for me. Well, after this RIDICULOUS quote I ended up calling NAPA right down the street to see if they could order me a new one. It showed up the next morning by 8am and only cost me $14.97 (NOT $150-200 like Primo told me) plus tax. I also ended up replacing the part MYSELF with it only taking 45 minutes. The next time I, or anyone else I know, might need some work done on their car...I most definitely NOT send them to you. Thanks to your price-raping garage, I will go into business with my neighbor fixing everyone's cars cheaper than you. Thank you for trying to rip me off because I am a woman.
