I had a similar experience as Tyrone, but didn't even make it into the store. I knew I was going to purchase at least $30 worth of items and exactly what I was looking for. I was going to be out 6-7 minutes, tops. I got there today at 8:47 and the door was already locked. Some guy at the register shouted through the glass "it's closed!". As if I was going to try to bust through or something? Whoever the manager is here, definitely check the tapes after 8:45. I can guarantee you your two-plus employees made zero sales after this time. Def glad a family dollar closer to is opening up closer soon. I had already stopped going to the DG on high school road for various oddities, but apparently the anti-customer culture has carried over to there too.

This store does what they want. Web page, employees and all advertising says they close at 9:00 pm. I went there close to 8:30 pm last night and the doors were locked. They close when they feel like it. When I questioned the employees, the lady working got very rude and stated she didn't need this job after I informed them I would be filing a complaint. Very ghetto employees, she was eating and being VERY disrespectful. Then the manager on duty told me that I was scaring the customer that was in the store just for asking for the managers name. I've been on the phone this morning calling repeatedly and they don't even answer the phones. I recorded the incident for proof as well. I stand very disappointed in how this store is ran and will be contacting corporate office!

Worst place to be the gentleman at the cash register is rude as hell. Do not want to guided customers where things are. I asking very nice his answer was extremely rude. We have an argument over a simple question what is wrong with him get a different job dude if that one is giving you stress. There was a nice associate doing her job and she was very polite indicating me to the items I was looking for. We need more people like her. Dude get another job. I truly apologize to the customers that were on line they didn't know what was going on.

Always friendly, super fast, steady rotating inventory of products for fair price. A nice young man immediately stopped to help me find the soap (limit 2). And my puppy loves his new dog toy!

Pull up the Dollar general to pick up a few things and the doors are locked. The lights are all on, there's no sign on the door saying that they're closed for some reason. So go back and sit in my car and wait and see if the employees are going to open the door again so I can get what I drove all the way here for and car after a car is pulling up walking up to the door and then walking away because the door is locked. So at 6:19 two employees walk out the door and are getting in their vehicles when I pull up and ask him if they're open and they said no we're closed I thought you were open till 9:00 I say. The female employee said not today

An absolute disaster walking in- from no staff present for several minutes to a mess of unstocked items cluttering the aisles. There were open soda cans and other trash on shelves. I actually visited this place for a job interview, only to be informed that the hiring manager had quit and that no one else cared enough to bother continuing with the interview or hiring process. Honestly, I'd say bullet dodged from the conditions of the store and the attitude of the staff. I'd recommend going anywhere else.

I love dollar general, however this location was not like my favorites. Nothing was put away on shelves neatly, not much products in general. There was carts of boxes to stock shelves covering every aisle and noone putting the stuff away. And noone to move them to get my cart down the aisle.

Rude. Good luck finding anything everything is in boxes all over the place. Can't walk around without running over something or dig your way around and through aisles. Young girl on register needs to learn how to say a simple Thank You and You're Welcome!!. Miss Cashier: you are young enough that if you hate your job...there are SEVERAL more out there.

An employee was having and attitude issue that, from what I picked up had something to do with a personal matter and included the manager who chimed in about having a 25 year old daughter and how he wouldn't want her to date a 45 year old man. The employees mother was there and shine other people chimed in. My cashier seemed to be the voice of reason but this employee had an attitude and the conversation was a bit loud while this employee was given the choice off staying out leaving. The cashier who was the voice of reason told the mom that is the girl stayed she would look after her. The guy manager just leaned on the counter and rolled his eyes. Don't know what it was about. Very polite, pleasant greeting, very helpful, the manager even came out from her office to assist me with the suckers for my autistic grandson. She remembered his dad being in there the day before. So when I went in she remembered about my grandson and came out to help. Very nice extra help GREAT job helping Customer. Way to go.!!!!!. I certainly will be going back. Shelves are full, store is clean. HAPPY Holidays to you. Thank you
