I got there just after 5:00, & they were already closed. The sign on the door showed closing time is 5:00. That's too early to be closing on a Friday night.

The cashier Marilyn was very helpful and knowledgeable. She rang her lane out and then helped the new cashier with ringing my order out. Both associates are friendly and nice. The store was clean. I had a great time shopping in this store. I also enjoyed the conversation with the associates. Good job DG.

The cashier didn’t give me all of the things I purchased, then proceeded to tell me over the phone that I needed to bring in my receipt, and I explained to him that he didn’t give me a receipt and I didn’t know why. He then told me to get over it! Don’t waste your time or your money going to this dollar general!

Always find all the things I need! Been looking for a dog brush for weeks now! Checked family dollar and big lots, finally stopped at dollar general and wa-la there it was.

Stopped by for the first time at 6 PM on a Monday night. It was dark out but I thought at first the store was closed. No lights on in the parking lot, not even the Dollar General store sign was on. I was hesitating to even go inside thinking I might be walking in on a crime scene. I waited in my car for someone else to go in so then I thought it must be safe. Inside, the store is a little disorganized compared to the one I frequent in Nineveh, IN. Things are hard to find. The store is clean, though.

The store is messy and cluttered. There is freight all over the store in the rolltainors that are used for delivery of the products. You can't get through the aisles to shop. This used to be a really great store but it has gone downhill in the last 2 months or so.

I mean its Dollar General what can you expect? Any Dollar General i walk in to usually looks a mess. This store looked better than most but still carts full of boxes throughout the store that made it hard to get through the aisles. They sell LA Awesome here (which is so strong i probably shouldnt use it i blame the people the rented the home before we bought because they left a bottle of the stuff and i loved it) its cheaper here than on Amazon.

Like most Dollar Generals this one is also a tight fit with shelves overflowing and no room for new stock. That aside the woman opener is amazing. She always has a smile in her face & remembers you when you check out, others could follow her lead.

I'm usually the person who "Vents" to themselves on the way home if I've gotten irritated while shopping at any store, not today!! I've shopped at the Dollar General on Madison & Southport for 10+ years, it's convenient to our home, and usually inexpensive. I understand that "things change", however.... the last few times I've been in there it has been VERY un-organized. Today was the worst I've ever seen it. Isles where literally blocked by merchandise on the store carts on both ends, merchandise piled on the floors, partially stocked shelves, etc. The floors look like they haven't been cleaned or mopped in quite some time. The cashier was somewhat polite to other customers, but not actually friendly, the way it has normally been over the years. I dont plan on going back, I'll spend a few more bucks going elsewhere.

Clean and organized store for a quick stop to pick up a few side items on your home from work. Parking lot needs help with holes and cracks, but that pretty much it.
