Around a year ago, I took one of my kittens into this office to get looked at. He was suffering from kidney problems which we found out essentially on our own; the vet we saw here pumped him with water, a bubble of it in his back, and some vitamins rather than getting further work done. She assumed there may be issue with organs from some other symptoms but that was it. The nurses were horrible. He was extremely anxious and obviously feeling unwell, he was also a bit smaller than other kittens his age. Rather than work with me to look at him or be gentle, they pulled at legs and held him down, and I made several attempts at holding him myself. When they took him back for the shot rather than doing it with me present, it took several minutes, and when he came back there was blood smeared on his back where they couldn't even be bothered to clean him up after. All this to say, we paid $200 and he died that night. We let the office know, canceled any further appointments with them, and they proceeded to send a "sorry for your loss" card. That was fine, however, I have just received a happy birthday from them for the kitten and a hope to see me soon for another wellness visit. I wouldn't care if we hadn't told them what had happened, but seeing this has made me feel sick and simply reminded of the day he died. Why would you send such a thing, especially when we were told we were removed from the office when we asked to be? I have never and will never bring another animal back to the clinic. They have been difficult with other animals I know as well, and whether my kitten could've lived or not, he didn't deserve what happened there. There are much better, kinder, and smarter ones out there nearby.

Our female 9 year old German Shepherd dog was coughing and having a hard time breathing. Dr took his time with her and got her the right meds and she's starting to feel better. Very good and caring staff

We've been using Kendallville Animal Clinic since we moved to Noble County in 2018 for our Chocolate Lab and 2 cats. They are always friendly and professional and the fees are very reasonable. You can tell that the Vet Techs and the Veterinarians really care about the animals and the front office is a pleasure to work with.

Was able to get my rabbit booked the same day i called. Everyone was very nice and super gentle even though bunny was not the easiest patient. Very thankful for their services.

The most caring staff! Our black lab was in need of help. Even though we did not normally go to this clinic, they were very willing to see her! We are very appreciative of all they did. We now have a new animal clinic to take care of our loving pet! Thank You so much!!

I took my two rabbits in to the clinic for spays. Dr. Funnell is amazing, she has spayed two other rabbits of mine and I would trust no one else with them except her. She called back just out of surgery to let me know they were doing well! The clinic staff was also very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend!

Drs.taking great care to treat alung infection and a GI obstruction in my beautiful girl. We've had, meds and X-Rays, and finally a sonogram. They gave us a referral to a specialist who can perform a CT scan - one thing they don't do - so we can be sure of the diagnosis and pinpoint what exactly is happening in the GI tract. Who wants an unnecessary surgery if the specialist can help? We are getting proactive care with loving and gentle medical professionals, all doing what is best for our little fuzz-butt family. Praying for a positive result in the long-run, and thankful for the vets and staff at Kendaville Animal Clinic.

I arranged to have my macaws nails trimmed and a beak trim for one of them. Dr. Funnell and the tech were great with Archie and Edith. The whole staff we encountered were very nice to them and talked as well as tried to understand the mumbling they do when around strangers. It was a very good price when she had a lot of nail to remove and Edith’s beak needed a lot of attention as we recently had adopted them. We’re very appreciative of how easy it was for us and how little stress Archie and Edith experienced.
