Went to Smiths grocery owned by Kroger in Vegas. Pharmacy was busy but still managed to get my prescription quick. Took over a day to get here in home town.

I like this store alot. They are doing a good job. They moved alot of stuff which takes getting used to but it's not bad. They are trying to keep things stocked and they try thier best to have baggers bag your groceries. Sometimes there isn't enough people to bag but it's ok and the cashiers will help you. Way better than walmart as far as grocery shopping. I also really love the store brand simple truth and organic items. I like clean eating and hope they get even more products without a bunch of unnecessary bad ingredients.

We go here weekly and it has gone downhill a lot. Cashiers are lovely and they have decent stock usually, but the sales people constantly hounding us is awful. Not to mention the pickup people driving their carts like crazy all over the store.

No clue how this pharmacy has anything above 2 stars. The drive-thru is permanently closed. They literally never answer the phones anymore. So in order to get a question answered that would've taken 30 seconds by phone- you have to physically drive up there, wait in line for 30 minutes, and THEN ask the question. I switched to Grantline, but for some reason, this Charlestown Road location didn't transfer ALL my scripts, so I'm stuck still picking up here... and can't simply call to remedy this situation! I truly feel sorry for the seniors/disabled customers who have to use this pharmacy. They're ridiculous.

Nice, clean store. Mapped out well. Easy to find what you need. Friendly and helpful staff. Use this Kroger a lot. 5 Krogering ⭐'s!

If you're going to close at a certain time then you need to post hours and not send your incredibly rude employees to chase customers out of the store when they enter because they didn't know what time you close. I'm not exaggerating, she opened her arms to make sure we wouldn't pass her and swept us out the door yelling that they close at 10. Clearly some customer service training needs to happen for everyone, including management. In the span of me writing this post, I have watched 15 customers be chided and chased away.

Kroger is pretty much the same as always. More expensive, the produce is priced as if it is A Grade and in reality it is actually B Grade. And you have to watch to make sure that you are charged what is marked on the shelf or shown in the advertisements. If you want to do an experiment, buy a bag of spinach at Kroger and see how many days it lasts before you have to start picking bad pieces out. Then buy your next bag at Walmart, Aldi's or anywhere else and see how long it lasts. The second bag will definitely be good for many days longer! I honestly think Kroger buys produce that is a little older to get better prices and as I said previously, they sell it as A Grade produce. And of course there is always the issue of them actually having items that are on sale at good prices. Unless you get there on the morning the sale starts, you will likely be out of luck. I complained about that once and was actually told that I should start shopping on Wednesday morning when the sales start. Since they obviously know that they will not have sale items in stock for everyone they should offer substitute items. But there is no way that will happen. If we ever get another real grocery store in Clarksville they might actually lower their prices and compete for customers rather than taking them for granted.

Chronically understaffed, particularly in Pharmacy where you must arrive at least an hour before closing (after you get the text saying your prescription is ready) to stand in line where they may or may not close on you while you’re standing there. I’ve tried to get my prescription twice now only to be told I didn’t get in line early enough although I was there 45 minutes before closing. Not normally a Karen but even the manager was dismissive moving all my prescriptions and going to Meijer from now on.

This Kroger is about the only place I can find the organic white sweet potatoes. Thank you so much! For someone who stays away from nightshades, thus regular potatoes, this is quite a find! With a little butter, they mash perfectly and with gravy they are very similar to regular mashed potatoes. So glad we found them here, and sometimes this is the reason I come to this Kroger's instead of a store that is closer to my house. Thanks again!
