When I walked into the store no one looked up, welcome me, or in anyway acknowledge a customer walked in. Every associate was with a customer already, but no one bothered to say we will be with you in one minute. I decided to leave and come back about 20 minutes later after running a few errands. Once again when walking in no one even looked over or acknowledged that someone had walked in. When talking with the customers waiting before me, they had also not been welcomed in. Once I was helped the associate was kind. I was came in to get my ring checked for the warranty, but if I had come to look and purchase a ring, I would have left well before anyone decided to acknowledge me.

I bought a ring online and it was the wrong size. The ladies were very helpful getting me on the right path to fixing it. But be prepared to tell them your phone number a lot. J/K

I had an engagement ring I saw online shipped to the store. Becky the manager called and said my ring was in and come look at it. Fell in love with said ring. Didn’t want to go through the financing so my fiancé put money on layaway and came back two weeks later to pay the rest off. Was told when we came back that in fact the ring they had wasn’t the exact one we had wanted shipped and it was gonna cost more. When asked why we weren’t told it wasn’t the exact ring they had nothing to say for themselves called corporate and they admitted what had happened but said they couldn’t do anything for us. Fraudulent is what that is. Would never ever recommend this Kay store. The one in the mall and others are at least forthcoming with accurate information instead of lies.

My husbands wedding ring fell apart right before our first anniversary.our salesperson said it can not be fixed and since we did not buy insurance there was nothing they can do. We went to Kay’s because we always buy our jewelry there and we believed they would stand behind their products. How sad, I guess we have to go to a different store to buy a new ring.

Was promised my ring would be sized and I would get it back in two weeks. Got a call after they had it for over a week and said they couldn't size a ring with yellow diamonds, and they would be returning my ring. Two weeks later I'm still awaiting for them to return my ring that they couldn't even work on. I called to see where my ring was, was told it was on the invoice but not in the shipment box, and that they would return my call after they called the maintenance department. Found out my ring got shipped to Kentucky, and now I have to wait for it to get back to our Indiana store. I was a very loyal Kay customer. But the customer service I have received and the broken promise made, I will never be a Kay customer again.

When buying an engagement ring this summer, I was told probably 5 times that I wouldn't pay any interest for 12 months if the balance was paid in full within the first year (the only reason I didn't pay with a credit card I already had that earned rewards). I was charged interest on the very first bill and every bill since. Filed 2 disputes with the bank that owns Kay's accounts (Comenity) before finally giving up and paying off the balance and closing the account. It was the store manager and not just some new sales associate that promised the 0 interest. I won't be back and will avoid any Kay's stores in the future.
