Becky was completely unprofessional and rude, I’d recommend filing with someone else or not even going to h and r block to begin with

Helped me prep the 2021 year. I am self employed and was told by others "they might not have time" for me. Even if they could have it was enought to get me to go somewhere else. I walked in and after a bit of time had me sorted. I paid them about $475 with a $25 discount for 2 different businesses. I consider this acceptable. I had many different deductions that they took care of without issues. If I had hired a personal accountant this would have cost me way more. Totally would recommend for small business owners.

Rita prepared our taxes this year. Last minute. We had an issue with Jackson Hewitt as they weren't doing things correctly and misinformed on splitting child tax credits between unmarried partners. Siting that as "illegal and fraud". Although every tax place i called said it is not and we had them done that way for 6 years. They would not compare to give us the better deal. Were rude and disrespectful. Siting their was only 1 way to do it. So the ladies at hr block squeezed us in at 7pm. Rita stayed until 9:30pm when they close at 8pm. Making sure our return was finished. She compared our returns 5 different ways. Splitting kids and credits different ways to get us the most money. Answered all questions. Was very patient and never rude even though it was way past her shift and closing time. It was even her idea to offer to do the many time consuming comparisons. (Living up to the h&r block slogon). Even lowered our service fees after 2.5 hours of service without us asking. We had been going to hr block for 6 years. So when JH said we could only do it 1 way and that we gad been doing it wrong for 6 years..i knew they were incorrect. We tried to do JH this year but they aren't anywhere near as accommodating or educated as h&r block. We loved Rita as our tax preparer and appreciate her time in helping us get the best service. We have been to h&r block before and had different preparers but she was by far the most kind, patient and helpful. You couldn't tell we had been there for 2.5 hours and that she was past her shift. Would highly recommend!

Sonya was the person who prepared my taxes this year she is very pleasant, she answered all my questions and help me to understand the process of receiving my taxes a little better. I enjoyed Sonya's help and I hope she will prepare my next year's taxes. I left H&R Block with a smile on my face. I wasn't sure if I wanted to return to H&R Block this year because my last year tax preparer held my taxes in her office for 21 days and did not send them thru until I called her and inquired about my taxes and I had to wait an additional 21 days to receive them I was not happy. But Sonya asured me that she will be prompt in sending my taxes thru and providing me with alerts about my taxes. I am confidant that she is going to keep her word. Thanks Sonya..

Did not inform us that we couldn't bring our toddler when we made our appointment this year. Which we have done for the last 8years or so. We will probably not be back and we canceled our appointment.

Jennifer Lacoste was very nice and helpful. My wait time wasn’t long since I didn’t schedule an appointment. I was maybe in the office for about 45 minutes total and that’s fast I think. I’ll definitely be returning next year.
