Just went in with my three littles and waited in line for 15 Minutes to be helped with fabric. The whole time the lady working says nothing about grabbing a number.. until two other people walk up and then she says grab a number. Me and another lady that had been patiently waiting were just skipped and the two people that just walked in are helped. The employees really need to respect the customers that were there waiting more and tell them to go ahead and grab a number before waiting 15 Minutes and others skipping ahead. This was especially rude when I have kids waiting as well. I'll be ordering pickup from here on!

Hey Joann’s are u paying attention to customer’s comments here? Why are you not posting your hours online? I’d love to support you in Cedar Rapids but your respect and consideration for us has completely disappeared. I can’t even order online and do store pickup because you’re NEVER open! Drove over there today (because it says online you’re open til 6) to find AGAIN that your doors are locked. Why are other retailers in CR able to hire/retain employees but you cannot figure this out?

Went there Friday 5/27/22. It was 3:30 and they were locking the door. You missed out on quite a large sale, I need backing material and batting for 3 quilts. Your loss was someone else's gain.

Know help around. Walked the hole store. One person cutting material and one checker upfront. Just had ONE question. Got an answer but I had to work for it.

Thought they were going out of business. Shelves are empty and didn't have any items we were looking for. Hopefully its just a bad month without delivers from across the country and the shelves will be filled.

Twice I've tried to come here after work, both times checking Google and the app to see what time they close. Google and the app both say 9 p.m., but the door says 6 p.m. daily. I can understand closing early, but you should update that info so that people don't waste their time.

If they are open because they sell fabric for masks and deem that to be important for heath safety then why don’t any of the employees wear them ? They don’t keep any social distancing from each other especially behind the register. There were 3 employees working at one open register and the other two were brushing past for pick ups today May 1st. Since pick up curbside is an obvious consideration be aware that if you need something right away you may have to wait an extra day. They said the reason is the amount of online pick up orders. If your item is in stock there and IF you need it right away you can still go inside to buy. They have the floor marked to keep customers at cash registers 6 feet apart.

Staff is always helpful and have a decent selection of supplies. Disappointed they dont carry oragami paper or quilling supplies. Sometimes line too check out is very long, so do not recommend stopping in if you are in a hurry. I Like the glitter paper selection, though they need a true purple and yellow.
