Bought a jar of the garlc&sea salt pickles. Got home took a bite and the fire alarm went off. super hot! Nothing on the front of the label to indicate hotness. looked at of ingredients...jalapeno peppers. very disappointed.

The vinegars here are excellent. Sadly, the service and oils left much to be desired. Part of the fun of a place like this is the tasting experience. The oils we tasted had remnants of crayon flavors, meaning the oil had gone rancid. To make matters worse, the employee working behind the counter took on a mean school marm attitude and scolded us every step of the way. “Only use that trash can, I don’t like to smell that oil, only 2 (not three) recipe cards per bottle of ($17!) vinegar.. it costs money to print those cards.

We stopped there today. As someone who isn't talented in the kitchen, I was a bit unsure, but the staff gave me good advice. I especially liked the recipe cards with purchase of oil. I also appreciated the additional options -- dips and rubs. Lastly, the mention of the weighted oil topper at the checkout was a really good idea. Thanks! We'll be back.
