I just want to thank these employees at the Le Claire Post office so much for all the hard work they are doing during the pandemic, election year, and upcoming Holidays. They have always done a great job.

Our small business would not be functional without the hard work and dedication of the employees at this post office. In the past, they had an employee who was a bit of a chore to work with (and a few reviews here reflect that point in history), but the current team is truly a blessing to work with! They go above and beyond to make sure your items are shipped promptly, and any concerns you might have are addressed. We can't imagine going anywhere else to do our shipping!

Moved to the City last month and am at the post office near-daily. This post office has some of the nicest employees I've ever met. Very courteous, professional and timely. Have never encountered an issue they aren't willing to help with. Honestly have no idea how anyone could rate this lower than 4 stars

The reason for five stars is because of one womans compassion, patience, and helpfulness. This woman is Selina. I've been stuck on an island in the middle of the Mississippi for 6 days now 12 in the area waiting on a resupply package that was sent from Georgia. As much as I wanted too snap on everyone in the postal service for my suffering no food money or cigs as I paddle the mississippi, Selinas kindness and patience has calmed my anger unlike the postal workers in Georgia. Believe me I've been on it. Lack of food no money etc. Stuck!!! There ought too be more people like Selina employed by the Post office. No happy ending my package is still lost. But my dealings with Selina has calmed my nerves. Shes gold. Needs too be promoted beyond post master too something more prestigious. Thankyou Selina in my time of high stress and anxiety. Your gold. Thankyou. Maybe one day we will find out what happened too my pkg. I pray you get promoted for the awesome person you are. You deserve it. Thankyou. God bless you lady. By the way..I have never met her in person, just know her by phone. And 100% pleasant that lady is. A real professional. She should teach seminars how honey gets you further than vinegar. And I'm not talking flirting, I'm talking professionalism and human kindness. Be blessed Selina!

Hi! I wanted to put some positivity out there with regards to the post office as I have been a resident during the times they received more mixed reviews. I have notice in the past year and a half that they have improved and provided great service each time I come. They take time to answer questions and advise on best shipping and even when I call for specialty deliveries or packages they have been on top of it AND it is a cute hometown post office. Not super busy so quick in and out!

I leave this post office with a different opinion each time I go. Sometimes it’s great, other times not so much. We live in Le Claire, but I’d rather go to Bettendorf with my packages if I’m in that area. The Le Claire post office has been really inconsistent in their service.

Post mistress very short with customers, like she hates that part of her job. Needs to be able to actually listen to customers questions to provide the the correct answer. The rest of the staff has always been good and helpful to me, I appreciate that. Maybe Post mistress needs to stay away from the counter and let the friendly folks help the customer, As she is no help. One mans opinion !

I tried to get a PO box setup online. I brought in my documentation. The lady couldn't assist me and forced me to come back. I asked for her manager to call me. The manager called me and confirmed I am ready to go. I said I could stop in today. This lady is still struggling to setup my PO box and even put me on hold to assist other customers when there was another lady just walking around and never assisted anyone. I am beyond frustrated.

The employee here Sandy is very VERY RUDE and I'm sure other locals that frequent this post office would agree! It's a shame that our hard earned tax dollars are going to employees like her! Very unwelcoming attitude and rushes customers. Never goes out of her way to help and has a very unpleasant attitude and sharp tone whenever asked a question. She acts as if your business there is inconveniencing her. I've dealt with her on numerous accounts and it's the same result EVERY TIME! I understand the Post Office is a fast paced work environment but, that is NO excuse for the low level of customer service coming from her! Just look for a maybe 5'7" tall thinner woman in about her late 50's with glasses and blonde hair that's her just so you know. I will be contacting corporate to complain now since I've finally had enough! On a positive note Laurie I believe her name is, on the other hand who is newer I believe, is very polite and always helpful. Always does her best to answer questions too.
