An old school supper club in a small town known for it's aged steaks. A Steak and Lobstervwill set you back, but it's phenomenal and you get a salad bar.

The Mother’s Day buffet was the worst food I have ever had at a buffet. Not to mention that it was Mother’s Day. I was charged $18.00 for my 2 daughter’s who were 10 and under, which is not what was advertised in the newspaper. For a family of 5 it was $90.00 total. They were out of ham, the chicken was cold and stale, the sweet corn was over ripe and the deserts were nothing special for an $18.00 per person meal. The person who picked up our plates spilled a cup of water on the table but never came back to wipe it up. There were 2 little kids (approximately 8 years old) filling pop at the bar and coughing in the pop. When I called to report that I was overcharged for our meals, I was told “hold on there - we received nothing but compliments.” The manager gave the phone to a waitress who asked my name. When I spelled my first name, which has other variations. She replied with “I know how to spell that name!” She then hung up before I was finished talking to her! No apologies… no costumer service! I have never experienced a worse meal or customer service.

Always a delicious meal! Had ribs tonight and they were great! Only let down was they had no chocolate mouse but only because they cant get the ingredients.

We always have the best experience at the Branding Iron. We had the steak and Lobster and Steak and Shrimp meals both included their salad bar. The steaks were done to perfection zero complaints. Salad bar was fresh and many options.

We found this place on Google and decided to make a short drive to check it out. I am glad that we did! Cool atmosphere and some good food! The Prime Rib was good (better than a lot of places) and the salad bar was pretty nice! The service was great and I will definitely make a trip back to eat here again! Note - when we went, they were not accepting credit cards, so be prepared for that. I am not sure if this is the norm at this place or not. 🤷

Great experience from start to finish! The 14oz ribeye was fantastic, and cooked perfectly to order. The grilled salmon dinner was absolutely phenomenal paired with a side of buttered broccoli. Salad bar was great, staff was kind and friendly, service and cleanliness all spectacular! Thank you for making our special occasion dinner top notch! 🤗👌

A very nice and clean Steak House in a small town. The food was served hot & server was very polite and nice. Best Root Beer I have had in the state of Iowa.

I was told "it's the best steak in Iowa" I didn't believe it - until I eat it. I am a believer now. Take the challenge! Back for the second time the Ribeye was perfectly amazing.. I still believe it's the best around.. The 160z prime rib is 4" thick..
