We ordered the Oasis Platter for carry out and my partner doesn't eat chicken so they said it would be no problem to substitute the chicken so that it was all beef. We got our order and realized as we were leaving that they scored an 84 by the health department. Yikes. Then we get home and the platter is still full of chicken. My partner had to go get something else to eat. I still ate, but the chicken was horribly dry and the steak skewers were tough. The rest of the platter was good. Quality was definitely not what I would expect from a Mediterranean place. We won't return.

Food and service were excellent today. I had not been in many years but I wasn’t disappointed. Food came out quickly despite our large group. They were short of some drinks (Pierre water). I thought the mint iced tea use to be more flavorful but it’s been a few years. If you enjoy Levantine cuisine, this is a good pick.

My first time trying Mediterranean food was a hit! The chicken shwarma was a home run, mango juice was super sweet but not over powering, and the hummus was delicious! Service was quick and friendly, seemed like it was family run. The booth we sat in was slightly sticky to the touch, and the restrooms were not the cleanest, however, it was fairly busy when we arrived so that may not always be the case. I would definitely be willing to come back again and hopefully bring the score to a full 5 stars!

Oasis has been one of our favorite places for Mediterranean food. We love chicken shawarma. However, the last time we ate there, the food had changed. And we learned it was under be ownership. The food is still good, just not what it was. The one thing we did not like it's the restaurant now serves pop in cans instead of fountain and the price is $2.50 per CAN! No refills 😤

Fabulous food, attentive and courteous service. Be patient with this family run restaurant and you will be rewarded. If you’ve never tried Mediterranean food, this is a great place to start. If you are familiar with it, you will love this place!! Very reasonably priced!

I tried the food from this restaurant for the first time yesterday and it will be the last time. This is the worst meal I have eaten in my life. The food was not fresh at all. the meat was like pieces of stone. I found hair in the food, the meat was not tasty and hard to eat, and kofta was burned out with black color, the amount is meat very little compared to the price compared to other restaurants, rice needs to be cooked more, the chicken was not tender and the kids refused to eat. Doesn't worth the money

Nice place. The food tastes great and the appetizers too! The prices are reasonable as well. We got like a platter and a wrap, the platter was for two, but I could say the three of us could not finish it! The staff are so nice and will make sure you are having a nice meal.

I hadn’t eaten here in a while and boy was I missing out. We had the Oasis platter to share with a taste of the meats and appetizers and rice and salad. It was a feast for the senses and taste buds. The restaurant isn’t that large and filled up quickly on Friday night. For a delicious casual meal in Chevy Chase this is a great place.

Had the vegetarian sampler thing and it was not only a lot of food for the price, but it was high quality. The grape leaves were so good I could have had nothing but that and been satisfied. The hummus was great, the rice and beans had a great flavor to them. I didn’t love the farfel, but that’s just me, nothing wrong with it. Even the soap was good. I left very very satisfied. Edit: I forgot about the amazing salad that the meal came with too! Its deserving of its own 5/5 rating.
