Food was good but not great. If you are craving some hot chicken, it will defiantly hit the spot. Chicken and waffles was good, would definitely get it again. Mac & cheese was not that good according to my kids.. they know their M&C so I trust their judgment.. the parmesan fries were good but bit oily.

This fantastic sandwich was exactly what I've been craving! Sandwich was perfectly cooked - tender and juicy. I ordered it hot and it came loaded with pickles that made for a perfect pairing. Service was quick, friendly and professional. The interior was clean and well maintained.

Banger. Staff in the front and at the back are super chill too which is a major bonus. Ela's fav is a bit too much on the mild side slide, but, hot was a very nice calm initial bite and grows into an almost perfect heat level, but maybe note for more than one or two bites.

5 stars definitely go towards staff! Was welcomed with amazing energy & the food was beyond delicious!!! So glad we found this little gem passing through Lexington. Food came out fast & quick, chicken was fried to perfection, mac & cheese was great & the greens were GOOD!!! Will definitely come back here when we do pass through again! Thanks for making our experience a good one😊

Very good food, but the prices are too high for what you get! I got a 3 piece chicken tender with Mac and cheese, no drink. It was over $11. That's just too high. Very good food but I won't go back here with prices this high. It was over $8 for a 2 piece. Just a little too much in my opinion. And let me remind you again, that was with no drink!

Covered outdoor seating available! Really enjoyed this place - I got the HOT chicken first, but it wasn’t spicy enough for my taste SO I went to the register and asked if there was any way to “add” spice to them. The guy working the front was super friendly and happily brought me a small container with the spice rub/oil to my table to dip my chicken in. It was SO DELICIOUS! I definitely want my mouth to be on fire with spicy food so purchase with caution. I loved the fried flavor mixed with this level of spicy, dipped in the pimento ranchero dip. Also don’t miss the rich and delicious mac n cheese!

I was finally able to come to this chicken shop that I had been interested in for a long time. As I expected, the chicken and sides were delicious. My favorite is big wings. The price is reasonable and the atmosphere of the store is good.

Joella' never disappoints!!! We drive from Danville, KY so my husband can enjoy the Fire-in-the-Hole sauce. My son is a Jojo sauce fan. Me, I'm the wing chic with that amazing Spiked Honey sauce. JOELLA'S HOT CHICKEN ROCKS!!!!

If I could give it a little under 4 stars I would. Good quality chicken. They have a decent bit of variety in terms of sides. In terms of spice and flavor it was lacking flavor but had heat. But if you didn't get the hot one it didn't have much flavor. Make sure you get hot if you're okay with a little heat. Pretty decent place but I think there are better places to get hot chicken.
