They have a variety of organic treats and we haven’t had any that our pup didn’t like. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful and they also do delivery! So, that’s always a plus. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I’d be happy to!

Initially, I became a customer at Pet Wants to support the incredible owners, Melissa and John. Upon switching my Golden girl Lady to Pet Wants’ high-quality food, her skin allergies cleared, and she no longer chewed itchy hot spots. It felt like a miracle! Additionally, the convenient delivery option was a life-saver during the years I worked around the clock. Two golden retrievers and ten years later, we are still thrilled to be customers! Super appreciate you guys! Can’t recommend highly enough!

Before anything the people are so very friendly.. they were kind, patient, and attentive. I've been trying to find my old lady yorkie a new food for a long time, kibbles don't impress her much anymore. As soon as I put the chicken and rice kibble in her bowl, she went at it! I am only disappointed this gem has been under my nose for years and I never knew! Shop here, shop local. Think farm to table dogs. You're welcome. And thank you!

Been a long-term customer of Pet Wants Lexington since the store opened. We always receive exceptionally good service, a fair price for very high quality food, and you will also find some things here you will not find elsewhere as it is a truly high quality food and boutique store. Love the owners and supporting small businesses and this is one of the ones we will continue to support going forward for sure. Highly recommend the food here if your dogs have allergies or sensitivities to different meats or byproducts, they do not use any byproducts.

This is THE best pet supply store in all of KY. The dog food that this business provides works wonders for all 3 of my dogs. They love the food, the treats, and most importantly the staff. You will never feel unwelcome in this business.

My dogs have loved the salmon dog food for 3+ years. They always get complimented on their shiny, healthy coats. They also love coming into the shop to picking out a tasty treat/chew. Very happy with these products.

Really loved that this place is easy to get to, and that they sell in bulk!!! The food is super fresh, and well packaged, although I immediately freaked out with buyers remorse. It’s not the most inexpensive food.... however... one of my dogs is so picky she will actually go on strike against it. She was jumping up and down to get to the bowl. Which was absolutely MIND BLOWING. All of the dogs loved it! They eat all of their food, but it is so filling that I don’t have to feed as much as other foods. They are also not begging for food all day. So, what I’m trying to say is: I will be buying a two month supply when they are needing more!

My dogs and cats love Pet Wants food! I got them a sample and they would only eat their food. The food is made locally and everything in the store is USA made. This is a cute little shop with very nice employees! I would definitely recommend everyone to try this food.

Pet Wants is a cute little shop in the Chevy Chase neighborhood of Lexington. My dog LOVES the food, which is all natural and reasonably priced. The food and treats (pupsicles?! awesome idea!) keep my 7-year-old dog healthy and active. Melissa, the owner, is friendly, awesome and is very knowledgeable.
