In August of 1978 Jerry, along with Jerry Ford Sr. opened the doors to Bennett & Ford Motors. Jerry Bennett’s small son Mike also started working cleaning up cars after school. Went to check this place out since it was nearby my hometown and found a 12 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT Z71 w/ a topper. This truck caught my eye and the reports they had were flawless! Completely maintained through the Chevy dealer after 3 owners. They offered me BELOW market value, (keep in mind that the market was very high at this time due to COVID related issues), the truck could not be more clean. As a detailer myself, they used products and methods that qualify for clean, healthy, and nontoxic interiors and exteriors. Beautiful work on the detailing side of things. As for the maintenance, I would say it's top notch. The truck had no damages, fluids were all PERFECT, steering was aligned and tires were balanced, only thing I'd say they needed to fix was it shifting to the right only slightly but again, not something I can't control, and even the underside of the vehicle had ZERO rust on the frame. The only thing I would need to worry about was the exhaust but again, those hold up to standards as it should! The negotiation went VERY well. They went down in price from that original sales price by $500, then we asked if that would come with a warranty... they offered us 30 day or 1,000 miles, whichever came first. The driver door mirror came off after trying to fold the mirror in, because they are made to fold. Since the mirror never folded it was bumped into and broke off easily. With it being under warranty and me having limited time on my hands to where I needed the truck for work I said I could work on it myself. They offered me a free replacement mirror and even said that the warranty would NOT be voided if I put it in myself! To sum up this review: Customer Service and Honesty: 10/10 Never seen more honest salesman, and when they talk to the dealer there's no whispering it's all in front of you, so nothing shady to worry about. Cleanliness and First Impressions: 10/10 Not a single speck of dust on that truck once I first saw it. And no cheap chemicals used either. The building itself was great, plain and simple, straight to the point, they guided me through everything without confusing you with numbers. It's all on paper. Vehicle Maintenance and Warranty: 20/10 Amazing 30 day warranty offer, and even allowed me to replace the free part myself WITHOUT voiding the warranty. In conclusion, I highly recommend Bennett Motors in Mayfield KY. And no, this is not a paid review, I wrote this myself on my free time and have never had customer service quite like this. If you're looking for a place to take care of you without being scammed of your money and with the best vehicles to offer, go to Bennett's. It is an incredible place to choose and I would like their dealership in my hometown because that's how much I'd do business with them. Overall: 10/10, best dealership I have ever been to!

Not a happy customer. I was told by the salesman that they do a through inspection on their vehicles. I took his word on this now I have a 2015 F150 I've put less than 3000 miles on and it has a bad road in the rear differential at 45 mph. The sliding back glass fell out in the back seat. It had been glued in with silicone. The track for the glass had been removed. At some time the truck had been wrecked. So if you buy from them make sure you get a Carfax and look the the vehicle over extremely well. Dont take a salesman's word for anything. They will say or do anything to make a sale.

Bought a 2005 Ford F150 Lariat from these guys back in 2015. It was marked at a respectable price so I asked about the history of the vehicle and was told it had an excellent history report but they didnt have it on hand due to their computer system being down. After 3 months the engine started knocking and when I took it to a Ford dealership for inspection they informed me the odometer had been rolled back and the truck had multiple accident reports. This put the value of the truck at half what they charged me. So I paid 15k for a hunk of metal. I was an active duty soldier at the time which they were fully aware of. So not only will this dealership lie to their customers face but they'll overcharge you no matter what your situation or status. Not that I expected special treatment but they could see on my credit report that I didn't have much disposable income and needed a dependable vehicle. I wouldnt refer even my worst enemies to Bennett Motors and wouldnt take any of their cars even if they were giving them away. Its dealerships like this that make it difficult for the quality ones to do good clean business. A plague in America no better than your local heroin dealer if you ask me.

Great bunch of guys very friendly and very knowledgeable on their product prices were below market value also the cars were very clean and i understand that im buying a used car so there may be a few problems but so far everything has been great! A+++++++

My vehicle had a panel fall off the day after I bought it. I was out of town so I couldn't go and see if it could be fixed. The vehicle stalls out sometimes quits when I'm going to park. It won't accelerate. The back A/C and heat has completely quit working. The front A/C and heat only goes to the 3rd setting doesn't work on the 2nd or 5th. The locks decided to all together quit working which left me outside in the cold for hours until I could finally get inside. The transmission dipstick was broke off on the inside, I had to go to a junkyard to get a new one. I went to Bennett to try to see if we could work out a deal. They were cold as ice said my vehicle is going to 'have problems' and didn't even offer to fix the simple issues I was having. I'm paying a car note still. My lights quit working last week (go figure). I WAS a returning customer I bought my first vehicle from them and sang their praises for years. I thought they were an honest business, something has obviously changed they no longer stand by their vehicles. I'm very disappointed in my experience and with my vehicle. I work on the road for my career and am in fear of going to far from home in case I need to call someone to come get me on the side of the road, which is costing me a lot of money. I thought I was getting a reliable vehicle they sold me a lemon.
