6 Best financial institution in Birmingham, Alabama (AL) 2025

Emmett was absolutely phenomenal. I needed to refinance my car and he and the legacy team made it so easy for me. I barley had to put in any effort to complete everything. He was amazing and went above and beyond. He made me feel so welcome and made me feel like I was his family. He deserves everything and more! Don’t get regions bank if you like banking by yourself with no one to help you. There is never anyone to talk to on the phone when you call the 1800 number. Like ever and ever. I always can’t get someone on the phone and it pisses me off. There is only one way to ever speak to someone is going into a branch. I use Wells Fargo and regions and soon you guys will see me come to close my account. Good bye. ~S

The ATM doesn't work, lobby is by appointment only, and the woman in the drive thru is no where to be found. Complete waste of time for any customer pulling in. This location shouls be closed immediately. Has to be worst Regions location in America. I have been a Regions customer for 30+ years. ~Kenny

It doesn’t matter if you get in line before 5 they will pull the curtain down in your face at 5. To make it even worse the ATM says unable to accept deposits at this time. Bet they wouldn’t have any problem charging an overdraft fee. Any other reputable business waits until the line is cleared. This was on a Friday when people get paid. This bank should stay open later on Fridays at least. ~Chad

Incompetent staff. Alot of going back and forth between them, customer support, and the branch I opened my account with. They locked my account for two weeks after a check I deposited was marked "fraud". They told me the check from my employer had bounced then that it was because I deposited "too much" and then it was because I had taken advantage of the mobile deposit feature. They told me I could "withdrawal from my savings" instead of unlocking my checking account. You get charged for pulling from your savings account at regions. Go find another bank to bank with. Regions has messed with my account time and time again. Especially don't try to take your issues at this particular branch. ~Zeke

I have been using this branch for the last 10 years .Two tellers in particular have always, I mean always been the most efficient bank officials I’ve ever dealt with I’ve never had any bank, consistently awesome. I’m so glad when I pull up and I see those faces they know what they’re doing in their great at the job ~Stephanie
