6 Best hardware store in Mobile, Alabama (AL) 2024

This is a good store for home improvement and regular home supplies. It is a big store with lots of products. They have plenty of appliances, plumbing items, cleaning supplies and painting items. I really like their garden supplies. They have good plants, fertilizers and mulch. I love God's lovely birds so I like the aisle with bird feeders and plenty of bird seed for feeding God's creatures. Store staff seems nice and helpful. ~Janna

3-12-22 Lowes on I-65 Mobile AL. Zero check out lanes are closed except self check out and Self check out will not take a Lowes gift card and the manager was paged 6 times and never came over for 45 mins. This store need corporate to come pay a visit. They are poorly trained and this store need professional properly trained help. About 12 had this issue as we was. ~DLB

I come to Home Depot to buy all my plants and plants needs…I am happy to come here. But today the lady at the customer service desk watched me walk to self check out where 2 other cashiers overlook the area and after I finished checking (paying) out the lady at the customer service check my Receipt for some potting soil and 5 .98 plant buckets. I do not use plastic, I’m not about to use bags. I try to live a sustainable lifestyle. This lady walk from behind the register fast asking to check my receipt like I was thief. My heart started beating fast. My chest became tight. If you feel like your customers are thieves don’t offer self check out. Not cool. Hire someone who specializes in theft to watch cameras. And I told her No! Serval times, I told her I just paid for these items But she continued asking. Mental Harassing me. ( Ms.D)If I start to suffer from some Post traumatic stress disorder. I will Most definitely be back Home Depot because she stated this is your policy and this has never happened to me. Never forget Lowes is right down the street with much nicer employees and a huge plant section I will drive the extra minute for better treatment 6/25/22 @08:07pm . ~Kay

Excellent business for nuts, bolts fasteners of all kinds and sizes They have got us out of several binds over the years. Very professional and fill your order on time. Great people! ~J

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER! Noone knows where my order is after being over 2 weeks late. Customer service has hung up on me twice. They can't even connect me to a manager. 1 star is generous. They should me liable for my schedule delays. Local store employees have been rude as well. Will NEVER by from them again. ~justin

Was able to purchase weather stripping and avoid the crowds at larger box stores. Easy in and out. ~Marcia
