Best sunglasses store in Downey, California (CA) 2024

It’s usually pretty full here but everything is very well stocked. The staff is friendly and you can find almost anything you might need here. It’s location is great too. It’s surrounded by a lot of great stores. I love how you can shop for literally everything in this store. You can shop for home and yourself and have such a wide variety of things. ~E

I am so dissatisfied with everything this company offers. I was due for a check up on my contact prescription. They weren't allowing me to buy contacts anymore from my old prescription (which is fair enough because the old prescription was given to me at their Pico Rivera location and I always felt it was off and not strong enough for my eyes) until I went in and was retested. So I go in and get tested and provide them my eyeglasses too. Despite them knowing one of my eyes is stronger than the other and therefore the prescription is different for both eyes, they ordered the wrong contact lenses so that I could have the same prescription for both eyes. When I went to try them on, one of my eyes felt off and the doctor explained why, aka they ordered the wrong one so I could have the same prescription for both eyes. So now I have to wait longer for the new order to come in. Approximately how long is up in the air. And I'm not able to buy contacts from my old prescription either. I'm in this weird limbo waiting on them. Due to the nature of my job, contacts are more convenient than glasses so I've been struggling this whole time. If they would have ordered the right contact lenses from the start this could have all been avoided. I thought maybe the Downey location would be different since I had a bad experience at their Pico Rivera location. Now i realize this company just operates poorly. For a few dollars more I should have gone to Costco or Walmart. ~Judy
