5 Best gym in Irvine, California (CA) 2024

My love affair with Pure Barre started 11 years ago and since then, on and off, it has been my happy workout place. After my second pregnancy I started having back pain. I used to see a chiropractor twice at week with no results. A friend suggested me to try this workout in order to strengthen my core muscle. I still remember the soreness of my whole body after the first class and the feel of joy at the same time: I had found my "me time" happy place! My back pain disappeared after a month. Since then, on and off due to my crazy schedule, I've been coming to this place. I tried other exercises but nothing fulfills my needs the way Pure Barre does. It's gentle with your body avoiding any kind of injuries, still effective and hard core. The place is well run. The teachers are wonderful and always ready to help especially with new people. From the moment you walk in, you're recognized, called by your first name, encouraged and motivated throughout the class. There are 3 level of classes, you start with the foundation before you move to the others. What else to say? Thank you Pure Barre for taking care of my body and my soul! ~Antonietta

Beautiful facility in Eastern Irvine. About 20000 pounds of free weight, Jr Olympic sized heated pool! Jacuzzi, dry Sauna, and daycare as well. A plethora of lockers, tear drop heavy bags, juice bar, and even a functional training area with plyometric equipment, TRX bands and battle ropes! Oh plus a basketball court and Zumba and yoga are offered at no additional cost in the aerobics room along with a separate cycling class ~Eduard

Workouts are quick, different everyday.(walk-in anytime) I must say this place has great trainers (Mike, Zeus & Gordon) they make the workout challenging, engaging and pushing... ALWAYS as long as they're not occupied. For the first time, working out never felt boring.. feels good after every workout both mentally and physically. ~Sai

The BEST workout hands down! No matter your fitness background 9Round is the perfect way to get a full body workout in just 30 mins. Cynthia at this location and the other Irvine location is SO amazing and helped me get back into training after taking a few years off. Pro tip: if you go in the morning before work/school you can have the place to yourself! That was my experience, and it was absolutely incredible. Awesome workout in 30 minutes! The owner (Nandu) brings lots of positive energy to the gym! He helps motivate you as you transition from round to round. I would highly recommend 9round to anyone! The gym is also kept very clean and organized. I am looking forward to my future 9round workouts! 🥊😀 ~Ben
