Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM)

I have been banking with Bank of America for more than 15 years. In the past five years they have gone downhill. My last visits to the bank over the past two months or very unprofessional except for one branch in Irvine. Going to branches in fountain Valley, orange next to my business, Santa Anna they are incredibly declining. That explains why most of the people I know are changing to a chase for much better business banking. The training of the staff is extremely terrible again the exception is the Irvine location. I will give it five stars. Every other location maximum one star. The training of the managers is very poor. In one location the security officer stopped me by the door and said that I have to tell him exactly why I’m going in the bank. I refuse to share my personal information I told him I only want to discuss it with the Business manager. He asked that I wait outside. After I went in inquiring if that’s normal from the Manager he said because the bank was crowded. There was only four people in the bank. That’s the location and 17th St. last weekend. Currently I’m in the process of switching my business and personal bank accounts as well as my family bank accounts and investments accounts to other banks. It’s not worth it to stick to a bank for one decent location. ~Mohamed

CVS

This is my neighborhood pharmacy for over ten years. I come here because of the convenience. Couldn’t deal with Costco environment just for prescriptions and after my kids grew up bulk shopping isn’t my thing anymore. I find everyone friendly and professional. I typically have prescriptions in auto fill. New stuff is usually ready within a few hours depending on how busy. Vaccines are good here too. Usually walk in cause I forget to make an appointment. ~Minga

ARCO

A pleasant experience. As far as gas goes, this was a pleasant experience. A clean facility, vacuum and air, complimentary hand sanitizer, phone pay options that worked immediately, and lots of trees and plants. Gas isn't super cheap in this area, but this was the cheapest around. Why did I even review a gas station? Because when I'm standing there getting gas and have nothing else to do, I look around and see if they care about the business. And if it looks like they care, well, they're doing a lot better than most others. ~Andy

I'm genuinely not one to say anything when people are rude to me, but the way I was treated tonight was absolutely unacceptable. The cashier was rude from the second I stepped up to the counter, I don't know if she had a bad day or what, but that doesn't give her the right to treat others with such lack of respect. I was trying to use my new bank card, and since I hadn't set up my pin yet, I've just been using my cards tap feature. As I did the tap feature the card machine kept asking for a pin which it isn't supposed to do. I was trying to politely explain to her the situation but instead of her trying to help me at all... she snapped at me saying she's not doing wanting on her end and that it's up to me on my end to do it. I don't know if maybe they're was a misunderstanding on my part or hers. But she was very rude about it, to the point where I felt like she was making a point to do so. Also... I don't know if it's true that they lock the scratches up after a certain time... I've never seen this before at any gas station... but when I asked if I could purchase one, she said they where done with selling them for the night and they where locked up. Just strange situation, I left feeling very frustrated and belittled. ~Melissa
