This is my neighborhood pharmacy for over ten years. I come here because of the convenience. Couldn’t deal with Costco environment just for prescriptions and after my kids grew up bulk shopping isn’t my thing anymore. I find everyone friendly and professional. I typically have prescriptions in auto fill. New stuff is usually ready within a few hours depending on how busy. Vaccines are good here too. Usually walk in cause I forget to make an appointment.

I needed to get a flu shot and I made the mistake of going to Walgreens at 13052 Newport Ave. The pharm tech that helped me told me my health insurance was not accepted, even though I knew that they should've accepted my insurance. I went straight to this CVS instead with no appointment and despite it being very busy I was able to get my flu shot for free within minutes. The pharmacy staff was very attentive of the customers and I was very pleased with my experience. Also there were no issues with my insurance. I recommend this location to anyone needing a flu shot, vaccine, etc.

Their pharmacy staff is very incompetent. I dropped off my prescription for 2 drugs and they insisted that I return in 2 hours (just to fill the bottles with the pills I need). I returned to pick up my prescription drugs and they proceeded to charge me insisting that my insurance plan was not active. Then, I had to contact my insurance company to notify CVS that my plan was indeed active. After confirming this, I went to this pharmacy to pick up my prescription drugs and they insisted that only ONE of the drugs were covered. AGAIN, I had my insurance company contact CVS to confirm that I had coverage for BOTH drugs. Truly despicable service.

Very pleasant experience getting my med here and I feel like a valued customer. I had a prescription transferred from a nearby CVS (at Heritage Park that is also a good pharmacy) and Brenda, the pharmacy manager whom I spoke to on the phone was extremely helpful and friendly. When I went to pick up the med, she got me in and out quickly. Her pharmacy staff and a cashier (young tall and slim lady at the main checkout) were also polite and courteous.

I was not able to print my coupons as usual since the machine for that was broken like it is at 99% of stores. I asked the manager if it was indeed not working and he basically dismissed me. He wasn't very helpful at all and on top of it, I realized when I left that, they over charged me for an item that should have been $8.99 rang up as $11.99. I will be returning it.

They always run out of weekly ad. They never tag/reveal those items which are on sale, which is too bad. Beauty selection very limited. Coupon center doesn't work which is very rare case I've seen. The worst CVS around this area.

Sometimes my CVS coupons do not work at the register at this location. I don't get the discount I am suppose to get for non-sale items. Also at times they have some "charity" outside their front door. Today the person manning the table for the "charity" was so drunk he hadn't noticed that I had just walked past his table less than 5 minutes earlier and he started rambling something as I was walking past. I am grateful I didn't have any little children with me. He was excessively drunk. I wonder how much money actually goes to his "charity"?
