5 Best convenience store in La Mesa, California (CA) 2024

If I can give this place zero stars, I would. I have been going to this pharmacy for the past 3 years and I have not gone a single visit without any issues. I am always shocked when there isn't a problem and everything goes smoothly (as it should). They always try to give me the wrong version of a prescription even if my doctor specifically told them what kind (generic or non). Every time I get a call or text notification saying that my medication is ready, it never is! I have even called and spoken to a live person that tells me it's ready and when I show up, it isn't. I always have to stick around for the "20 minutes" sometimes even AN HOUR for them to fill a prescription I was told was already ready for pick up. I drive specifically to the store because they say its ready and I still waste so much time waiting for them. On top of it all, if they say you can wait around the store while they fill your medication, they don't call your name to tell you its ready and you end up wasting more time waiting around for them. They call SOME names but not all names. BE PREPARED TO WASTE SO MUCH TIME HERE IT IS RIDICULOUS. I have used CVS for so many years, in many different states and cities and this is the worst experience I have had in my life -- considering moving pharmacies even if it costs me more money but at least I do not have to deal with such rude and incompetent people. And COVID is no longer an excuse. ~Lola

Slow and border line rude customer service. Walk in the door, employee just walking out from the back. Looked at me and continued walking away into the back of store. Not carrying anything, no hello, no I'll be right with you, nothing.. This is is not this first time this has happened. This time I walked right back out. Not sure what’s going on with their deals? They staple over numbers on their drinks, I’ve gone to other 711 with the regular sticker price not one staple over. Seem like they want to gauge you for more money. ~Beast

Wow! Such a great experience:) My family has been coming here for years and decided I was going to treat my Jeep to a drive thru wash. Pulled into the paying stall and was greeted by Erica and Emanuel, super nice and had great news to share with us, we were getting a free car wash today! I had to leave a review , not only did we get an awesome service, but such a generous gesture that I will be coming back again soon! Car wash was quick and easy. There are workers there to help guide you into the track and give you an air freshener :) Once your in the car wash its party with colored lights and soap, a really fun experience! This location is stocked up, always plenty of sport drinks and 20oz bottled sodas. Slurpee area looks great. The trash cans are not overfull. Thank you to the staff for keeping it looking nice. ~Barbie
