7 Best convenience store in Modesto, California (CA) 2025

The young lady working here with pink hair was extremely rude to me because I only wanted to put in $2 to get to the cheaper gas station and this wasn't the first time the people working here seem to be extremely paranoid about small amounts of gas and I guess I could understand that but they need to understand that sometimes not everyone has enough to fill up their tank if I was management I would severely reprimand the people that work here! ~Stephanie

Best staff ever. My favorite 711. They have cheese and peppers plus a free dipping sauce for your pizza! New machines cameras and lights this is also a gas station and a Jack in the box. With 8 gas pumps nd a car wash this is a one stop spot that's convienient and friendly. Thanks everyone there! ~WestCoastCrypto

Customer service is great, very friendly staff, store is clean and they always have a great selection of items in store, random good finds as well. ~Laura

I believe he has not changed the price of the gas on the signage and charges more than it says. He doesn't answer the phone. ~Mo

We pulled in for gas this morning and pulled right back out. The female attendant was wiping down the pumps when we stopped. I asked if the restrooms (located outside in the back of the lot) were open. Without really looking at me, she snarled "there's a sign saying they're permanently closed." I asked if she knew where there were any open restrooms in the area. She said "no" and walked away. This station is a dump, and shouldn't have the Chevron logo on it. Since it is located off of State Route 99, it is obviously going to attract a lot of Southbound travelers. I suggest you bypass this station unless you enjoy dealing with closed restrooms and an angry, hostile attendant. Added after reading owner response: Other gas stations up and down 99 and I-5 had restrooms that were open, so Covid is just an excuse. Judging from all of the negative reviews, it appears you definitely have a problem with rude and uncaring employees. Instead of making excuses for them, maybe you should find and train higher quality people. ~David
