Best deli in Oakland, California (CA) 2025

Everything seems to be atleast a dollar more than it should be. They sold a expired fruit sampler i picked up. Smelled and tasted sour. I tried to call customer service and got no answer. I think i remember seeing a no refunds on card sign on their door so I guess I must be out of $5. Would not really recommend for daily shopping, stick to the deals, there was a couple surprising vegan deals but overall it’s really pricey and doesn’t have enough cashiers. ~Mx

Fantastic! Clean ! Fresh EVERYTHING ! I am a tea drinker , it has been a struggle to find a properly brewed cup as the water is never the correct temp. As I was grateful, the kind lady (should have gotten her name) said this is why they don’t keep hot water at the self serve , it’s doesn’t stay hot enough The salad bar was so absolutely enticing , you can tell absolutely everything is made fresh daily . I will be a contributed patron at their establishment . ~Sheila
