Everything seems to be atleast a dollar more than it should be. They sold a expired fruit sampler i picked up. Smelled and tasted sour. I tried to call customer service and got no answer. I think i remember seeing a no refunds on card sign on their door so I guess I must be out of $5. Would not really recommend for daily shopping, stick to the deals, there was a couple surprising vegan deals but overall it’s really pricey and doesn’t have enough cashiers.

Huge lines, poor quality cold cuts. The selection is generally improving. If they could increase the number of registers open the store would be more pleasant. Better selection of mushrooms and organic produce would be a plus, as well as boar's head or decent meat

NEVER enough cashiers. I will say the cashiers are generally quite friendly. But every time I've been here I'm stuck in lines winding all the way down the aisle

This is my neighborhood grocery store, I have been coming to this location since I was a child with my mom, I honestly have no complaints. Admittedly, there are a few panhandlers that frequent the area right in front but, I don't know a grocery store in Oakland that doesn't have that issue, plus they haven't ever given me any problems. The store is always clean, I have found the employees to be helpful and friendly, plus I feel it's a major bonus that customers have access to the restrooms. - the recent remodeling has really opened up the aisle space.

Was so happy to get a treat from the bakery until I took a bite out of my Pear Caramel Mousse cake and there was mold on the bottom! I live too far to take it back. Very disappointed, Lucky’s.

Self checkout guy does nothing when you need help. 5 different times now I've needed assistance on prices of items they are selling but are not in their system and he just don't care.

I would have given Lucky the highest rating, but buying produce when the store initially opens, doesn't give the staff any time to put out fresh greens. Otherwise the store is great. I just need to shop later.

Good-sized parking lot for customers, and a nice, clean interior inside the store. We had plenty of cashiers working around 3pm Sunday and didn't have a wait in line at all. Found everything we needed without a hitch; no complaints!

I'm there 1x or 2x a week and the prices are decent with the sales. I prefer the less crowded environment so going late works best. Issues I have? More times than not certain things are out of stock with the "try back in a few days" excuse. Seems to me if you don't make the effort to tell someone to restock a slower moving product, the location for it just sits empty (in particular the Gonesh incense - see photo). They need to have antibacterial wipes near the raw meat section and THEY DON'T HAVE WIFI IN THE STORE (big negative for me)!!
