This location is physically nice but the service here is abysmal.
Went in to get hot dogs for my kids. Saw some kind of sandwich in a wrapper in the display behind the counter, but it was upside down so I couldn’t see the label. I asked what it was, was told chicken. This is where things start to go wrong.
Upon being wrung up, I see the total is close to $30, which is about double what I was expecting. Then I see on the terminal that there is some mysterious $15.99 charge listed. Likely an honest mistake, but I had to notice and ask to have it removed.
After completing the purchase, I go to get ketchup for the hot dogs, and find the ketchup bin empty. I track down the employee again, and only then am I told that they are completely out of ketchup. The employee shrugs. So now I have two hot dogs that my kids won’t eat.
I leave the store, only to discover the “chicken” sandwich I was sold is fish. The top of the label where it presumably says it is a fish sandwich has been torn off. The sandwich itself was fine, but not really what I wanted.
Seriously 7-Eleven, you need to do better than this. ~Alex
