Neighborhood Car Care

The whole Neighborhood Car Car (NCC) team was very thorough, knowledgeable, courteous and professional. My Tundra had an intermittent starting problem. Jon explained every step of the repairs before and after the diagnosis. I was given a breakdown of the costs before moving forward. It turned out to be a bad starter (for a 2000-2006 Tundra it is a lot of work to replace), which requires the removal of intake manifold and a lot of other connections. Not a diy project. Because the starter had been replaced here 8 years before by the previous owner, NCC honored the lifetime warranty and gave me a free starter, only paid for labour. The repairs were competed sooner than estimated and my truck runs like a top. They even checked and topped off all my fluids and inflated my tires to spec. Kim in the front office is great too! She is friendly, patient and knows her stuff! I don't normally write reviews, but this place deserves one. I would definitely recommend. Services: Engine repair, Auto engine diagnostic ~F

Motion Tire II

Open on a Saturday, they mounted and balance a set of tires for me. Did a good job and it just felt like there was a personal touch given. I have been a tech for 20 years and recently left the field and don’t have access to tire changing equipment, have been to a few local places which are fine but mediocre, Motion seemed to have an added touch, I will be back for my tire needs the next time. ~Andrew

American Tire Depot - Ventura

I Decided to write this review to warn and advice future customers here to take PICTURES of your items PRIOR to your installation and carefully INSPECT for any DAMAGES immediately after they finish ,in hopes you don’t fall into a situation like this. long story short, purchased 4 new tires to be installed on new rims here, found out a couple of days later the rims had scuffs and light scratching on the inner outer edges of the rims. These rims costed me around 2,500$ and I was very disappointed to hear the MANAGER “Martin” say that if it where him he would of “just ignored the damages because accidents happen” after I brought this to his attention. Planning on taking this over to Small Claims Court since they denied my request to have the rims repaired, even with CLEAR evidence that the damages could of only been done during the process of installing the rims in the tires, let alone the rims and tires being literally fresh out the box. ~Mid

Pep Boys

Made an appointment for 8:30am and dropped the car off at 7:30 before work and left the keys in the drop box like we always do. Come 4pm I call to check up since I haven’t heard anything all that and come to find out they never checked their drop box and tryed blaming it on there not being a note stating that. We have been customers for years and have done the same routine each time since we work early. What’s the point of the drop box of you don’t check it. When I spoke with Luis ( manager ) he says it is not standard for anyone to check their drop box daily.l, even though my car was parked right outside their garage all day. Which seems pointless to me. I was going to get an alignment, new tires, total fluid flush but because of the negligence and unprofessional service I probably won’t be returning. Carlos has always been super helpful and able to get things done especially when there is an appointment set in advanced. Maybe reconsider who you have running your shop. ~Michael
