I own three businesses and have been in the community for over thirty years. I wanted to open accounts in a smaller community bank. The man ( the assistant manager?) sitting at the desk would not open a business account for me although both the IRS issued EIN certificate, all personal documents and other bank accounts with same fictitious names from Chase were accompanying my documents. I am actually not sure what he wanted. He didn't know it himself either. Very inept and unprofessional.
