Best fast food restaurant in Thornton, Colorado (CO) 2024

Amazing spot for an authentic torta. Staff are so nice and made us a vegetarian option. The large juice is pricey but worth it. Highly recommend, will be back again!! ~Elise

Looking for a late night meal and Taco Star was the recommended spot. We pulled up around 12:15 am on a Saturday night and low and behold there was a line of cars 15 deep. We decided to park and order at front of house. Looking over the menu they had a lot of options on par to most late night Mexican spots. Decided to go with Carne Asada quesadilla and a few other options to make my tummy happy. “The kid” and I mean young teenager, Took our order and asked if it was cash or card. We gave him a card and waited, waited, waited. A line of people started to queue behind us as we were waiting for my receipt and credit card. 10 minutes pass no one in line has ordered since us. Pop my head in the window and ask where is my credit card. The teenager looks confused and walked away from me saying nothing. Peek my head in the door and asked to see the manager. This is what happened, my card was given to a driver in the drive-through line! Taco Star Gave my credit card to someone else. Clearly this is not optimal business performance. After apologies were made and my food was ready. I demanded my $30 back for the meal, and the manager had to discuss this with other employees before any decision was made, again not particularly smart business practice. Luckily my wife went back to the car contacted our card provider canceled and reported our card stolen. The manager of taco star did refund me $30 in cash. Overall the food was about 2.5 stars of the experience was -2.5 stars. So that evens out at zero. Thanks for listening needless to say I will not be returning to this location or Taco Star’s anytime soon. ~Marcus

This is a pretty nice McDonald’s. Usually very clean. I’ve been a customer here for years. Their employees have been some of the nicest with very few exceptions. My orders are usually right. Coffee is one of the main things I stop for. As long as it’s freshly made it’s better then Starbucks. I’m glad they have their lobby open again except for a few things. The music is horrible for eating. Please go back to elevator music. Or no music. Eating with the beat of some of the awful music that is played makes me feel sick to my stomach and leaves me with a splitting headache. People like me with certain heart conditions won’t be able to sit inside at least for long because beats in music can cause palpitations & change a persons heartbeat. Then there are the locks on the restroom doors. There for whatever reasons that as a customer really are not my problem. If you have a disability, are elderly, have had babies, that requires quick access to the restroom or have small children that might need to go fast this is not the place for you anymore. (Unless your going through the drive up and don’t need to go inside.) Especially when they are busy it can take ten minutes plus to get a worker to get you into the restroom. I’m not upset with the workers they are doing their job keeping their work area clean, taking orders & serving customers. Adding bathroom attendant onto their already long list of responsibilities well it really shouldn’t be their problem either. ~Gran
