Greenfield Animal Hospital

Dr. Andrew Marsh and Dr. Rachel Galluzzo are phenomenal. My wife and I recently brought home a puppy and needed expert help relevant to his vaccinations and overall wellness. At Greenfield Animal Hospital, we were met with warm and knowledgeable partners that helped ground us in a strong and healthy foundation for this puppy. Day in, day out, these doctors and staff are passionate about animals and the work they do for this community. I cannot say enough positive things about Greenfield Animal Hospital. ~Paul

Our Place Antiques

An incredible time capsule for Black Rock. After driving by this place hundreds, maybe thousands of times, finally stopped in to see what they had. The owner was incredibly knowledgable and had all kinds of odd treasures to showcase. These are true antiques, so the prices are high but fair. Definitely check it out if you're in the area. ~Aub

Jos A. Bank

I paid over $300.00 for a custom fitted suit and had Jos. A Bank do the tailoring as well. This is what I got in return… l visited the store on 4 different occasions in 5 weeks because they had kept making a mistake. But I gave them chance after chance to redeem themselves. The manager Steven worked directly with me and the day before the wedding, the suit was returned to me still way too big on the pants, double press marks all over the pants, stitching missing and holes at the bottom. I was told word for word, “our machine is broken, I don’t know what else you expect from us. If you want, take it to Milford and see what they say.” This is how you treat customers? Don’t go here if you are looking for a suit, tux, etc. They will do the same thing to you. I hate to leave a bad review and I support local businesses but these people straight up had taken my money and said not our problem after I ordered the suit 5 weeks before the wedding and was promised it would be done and not ruined way before that. ~Jack

Black Rock Pharmacy

Excellent customer service experience there - I went in because they have the bivalent COVID-19 vaccine and I wanted to get a booster for my mother and myself. The pharmacist Ken was extremely courteous and efficient. I like the idea of patronizing a small independent business instead of the national chains, although I live out of town so I won't be able to get back very often. ~Daniel

Cumberland Farms

I guess that one has the lowest gas price in Ct. $3:79 cash as Credit while it is for $4:05-$4:50 in NYC The first time I was hooked to the Cumby's, when I used to visit the Hampton in Long Island. It is a regional chain of convenience stores based in Westborough, Massachusetts, operating primarily in New York, New England and Florida. Cumberland Farms operates 566 retail stores, gas stations, and a support system including petroleum and grocery distribution operations in 8 states: Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Its original colors were navy blue and orange, but in 2009, they rebranded with a new logo and colors (navy blue and green).[2] The new logo change marked the beginning of the transformation of Cumberland Farms stores from older, legacy stores to new AIM stores that now include numerous new fresh food items such as pizza, chicken sandwiches, subs, and a roller grill. Cumberland Farms offers a large assortment of food service items, candy, snacks, and chilled drinks, which it calls "The Chill Zone", along with Cumberland Farms branded chips, pastries, candy, and coffee, etc. ~Ahmed

Mobil

Nothing quite like the gas stations on the Pike. Pull in and pull out. They are big and have all you might need even if you're hungry or just need a 🍩. And when you have to leave just get ready to put some lead in your shoe. You can't be shy when you pull back onto the Pike. ~Noel
