Recently Michael Kors deactivated my gift card which took almost two weeks to get reactivated through multiple phone calls to corporate despite the fact the card says it never expires on the back. I was very dissatisfied with the assistance from corporate. However the manager of this store Kim was very helpful, listened to my concerns and gave me a discount on the gift I bought for my troubles. It is difficult to find good managers and staff in today’s environment and Kim certainly is great at her job and turned a bad experience into a good one. ~Thomas

I went shopping today and Carrie was awesome. It’s been so long since I last felt like outstanding service was provided. She was kind, patient and extremely attentive. I am very picky when shopping for clothes and I was able to buy many items today. She helped me find the right size, the only one that she didn’t find in store she did the transaction on line. She was wonderful and working during these difficult times made me acknowledge her workin this review. Thank you! Management should appreciate her hard work! ~Laura

If the University of Hartford's Einstein Brothers Bagel pops up on your GPS , don't bother. The bagel shop at the university has been closed since Covid 19 and the campus is also closed to the public. It was a great bagel shop while it lasted. Most students now frequent Isaacs bagels (excellent choice) which is down the street in the Bloomfield rea. ~Greg

Two very poorly made drinks and a lack-luster appetizer cost $60. The peaches were hard as a rock although grilled, and flavorless. Crostini had no flavor but burnt. The prosciutto was ok. The negroni tasted of Mr. Clean and turpentine. It was hard to swallow. We didn't even order dinner, and won't be back. ~Xanah

NO PLUS SIZE?! Then when I try to go into the dressing room with my sister to give her my opinion on the dresses she’s going to buy, they tell me only one persons allowed? Im sorry? Is this not a mall in a casino? We can’t sit down in the dressing room to get a break from walking?! The African American girl working gave me attitude, bad service. I should be allowed to go in with my sister, we are family…FAMILY. I recommend you get rid of that employee, disrespectful. Bad customer service, do better. You earn enough money to have better employees. ~Em

I'm going to be honest, in at least ten years of going to Foxwoods, I've never been to Scorpion Bar during the day. We went for dinner and on our way in we saw a sign that said the patio was open so we decided to sit there. The view was nice (see picture), but the AC units made it sound like a helicopter was landing behind you the whole time. We were the only ones on the patio, but the waitstaff did a great job tending to our needs regardless. The table was a little small as were some of the offerings. The Esquites was pretty disappointing, but the empanadas and chicken and churros were all pretty decent. I wouldn't say it is the best restaurant in Foxwoods, but the prices were reasonable and there was no wait. Not blown away, but not disappointed either. ~Mike
