Best hair salon in West Hartford, Connecticut (CT) 2024

Go see Allegra! I had long beautiful hair and in December I saw someone at another salon who completely destroyed it! I was devastated- and then I found Allegra. For the last few months she has been working to get my hair to a point that we can even start over. I finally feel pretty again! She pays close attention to detail and takes pride in her work. She listens to what I want to do and makes a plan to achieve that while taking into account my current hair state, my lifestyle, and how much maintenance it would require and I'm willing to do. She calmed my nerves and absolutely has gained my trust! She combines the science and art that goes into hair and that's why she's great at what she does! ~Jannae

Not happy about the haircut. She was supposed to trim my bangs but hardly cut any hair. Try not to get her again if l can help it. Last girl did a better job. ~Robban

Stephanie’s been doing my hair for almost 3 years now and there’s one else I’d rather go to! My hair would not be so blonde, long, and healthy without her! She even got me back to blonde after I impulsively colored my hair purple during the 2020 lockdown - and she did it without bleaching it! I love her creativity and attention to detail, and I always leave her chair feeling beautiful and happy. She’s also very upfront and transparent about pricing and timing, which I really appreciate. Off Center salon also has just a great energy overall, and everyone there has been so nice and welcoming! Definitely recommend! ~Bianca
