9 Best grocery store in Bradenton, Florida (FL) 2024

I don't know how people buy food here. I went close to when they opened and the bathroom was filthy. Floor clearly hadn't been mopped in quite some time, trash overflowing, and most disturbing was the watered down soap. I'm not eating anything from a place that doesn't even have soap for the employees to wash their hands after they use the bathroom. GROSS ~stephanie

Some of the friendliest staff in Bradenton. If they have seen you a few times they know you and what you want. Always looking out for the customers that show appreciation for them. Unfortunately there are some bad apples that shop here and ruin a lot of good things for the rest of us but overall one of my favorite neighborhood stores!!!! ~Brent

Prices way up, some things can get at grocery store for almost half the price. Now to have something sliced for sandwich meat, you have to come back 24 hours later to pick up. Not good changes. ~Pam

I stopped here to check it out, because there is a hot food counter, and I wanted to check out their produce and spice sections. Everything was very fresh looking and well stocked. The meat counter had lots of good looking food and there were busy staff was cleaning and keeping things looking wonderful. All the food in the hot food case looked good, considering it was almost 3 PM when I arrived. I ordered the chicken salsa Verde, which came with a side of rice, beans (well seasoned & delicious) and a stack of small corn tortillas that were warmed through. The chicken was sublime. It was the best meal I’ve had in a long time, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I sat inside at the counter, there is a selection of salsa if I wanted it, and the people who served to me were very nice. The store is a gem with lots of Hispanic and chilies and curry for Jamaican food meals. I did not try the bakery next-door, so it sounds like I should check it out as well. This was a real score, for someone who likes to haunt alternative grocery stores and experiences. I’ll be making this my go to place to pick up spices, herbs, fresh salsas, housemade guacamole, fresh salsa, delightful produce options, comals, cookware, whole loofah sponges, and much more. This place has it all ~Zoe

This is the first time I’ve been to an ALDI and WOW! The isles were huge, the prices were amazing and while they didn’t have everything I needed they had 90% at affordable prices and in a clean store. Bring a quarter! You’ll need it to get a cart and also bring some reusable bags since they do not provide them there. Overall a very enjoyable experience! ~Drew

I go to publix for cleanliness and customer service. I just encountered bad customer service from a team member at the Deli. Her name is Amanda. I stood in lane for at least 7 to 8 minutes, she did not acknowledge my presence, she served a new customer instead of me. I wanted food from both side, the hot and the cold. Even the customer to whom she served told her to served me, and refused. I left the food and went to talk to the front service manager. He was very professional and he resolved the issue. Please retrain this bad attitude lady so she can treat everyone the same. Thank you very much. ~marquensy

This market is pretty nice. The workers I have encountered have all been really nice. Like that they have boars head meat. I have no complaints. We went the other night to get a snack and bought their carrot cake and that was one of the best cakes I've ate. ~Java

Always awesome! Sometimes it's annoyingly busy with people that don't understand how Aldi works. Great staff, always stocked. I'm a huge fan! ~Katie

The store is decent compared to others, but I have to say that I'm very frustrated with this specific store. There is nothing but self checkout lines with maybe 1 or 2 teenage employees that just sit there texting and don't acknowledge the people who need help which then cause back ups of lines. Florida is like 80% retired people and they are still learning self checkout so you can expect 1 out of 3 people needing help with checking out. Not to mention that they almost never have packages of chicken at their store. This really needs to be fixed. ~Lily
