Best clothing store in Destin, Florida (FL) 2024

This store always reminds me of a "bargain basement" store. I shop here for clothes on a regular basis. There is an excellent of clothing for both men and women. There is also a decent selection of shoes. As is often the case, there are many more selections of shoes for women than for men. Men just have fewer options and are happy to leave it that way. The reason is reminds me of a bargain basement is there are often significant sales. I bought a shirt today for summer use that was 40% off. It is long sleeved but protects skin against the Florida sun and is made of a cool cloth so it breathes well. My wife bought two pairs of shoes—part of the large selection of women's shoes referenced above. There are also some household goods. The selection strikes me as eclectic. That makes it fun to browse and find out what I may want and knowing I can probably find it at a good price. ~RalphFLA

My grandson, granddaughter and I stopped by Belk today, at Destin Commons. No one greeted us at the door. There were very few shoppers. Prices were extremely high for average clothes. Signs, all over the store, asked me to download the Belk app, for 50-percent off. I shouldn't have to give Belk my personal information to get sale prices. I bought nothing. ~Ann

The Asian woman that worked on Friday, June 17th was incredibly rude. I was perusing the petite section and she had the audacity to stop me and ask “Can you fit in petite clothes?” Petite does not equal skinny. I was so appalled by her behavior that I left the store without the items I wanted to purchase. The employees here need to think before they speak. ~Kaitlyn
