Publix Pharmacy at Southdale Shopping Center

The pharmacy manager, Carol, is exceptional. In spite of the pandemic and how busy they are, I asked her if they carried Absorbine Jr as my liniments were causing severe pain. She walked me to where they carry similar ointments and suggested one. For something selling under $4, I had qualms about success but because she went out of her way so much to help, I didn't want to appear unappreciative. A half hour after application, most of the pain had dissipated and 2 days later it was a none issue; such a pity that I waited so long. Good job, Carol. ~Stan

Publix Pharmacy at Paradise Place

I attended the pharmacy in very desperate measures after going into no least than 10 other Publix Pharmacy’s and being denied to fill my prescription of Alpralozam. Upon my arrival I was greeted by a young lady by the name of Sky. She went to her pharmacist and got the approval for the medication to be filled. I can’t thank them enough for I spent day’s , going from one Publix to another even the one that filled this same script prior to the Covid Outbreak. Sky and the Pharmacist that were working the two days, were very transparent, professional, and courteous!!! Thanks to both of these ladies for their wonderful work ethic’s!! ~alumi

Progress Pharmacy

Anne Robin Lindsey LPN. I took my elderly patient into Progress Pharmacy to finish her Shingles schedule injection. After waiting and not being waited on when the store was practically empty my patient recieved her injection. As I was trying to help her get out of the chair with wheels, dangerous, the Unprofessional pharmacist with no lab coat no uniform no i.d. identifying herself she got behind me and tried to squeeze through a narrow place telling me "excuse me" for me to move while my patient was mid rising from a chair 2.5 weeks post-op knee replacement. When I got my patient in the car I took this woman aside and told her " don't ask a nurse to abandon her patient that is unsteady so you can pass by. something like that. She said oh no I didn't do anything. We will not use that pharmacy again. It is not patient oriented and they don't care about the patients safety. ~Robin

Sam's Club Pharmacy

I cannot say enough good things about the Pharmacy at Sam’s club on 45th Street. All staff members are so helpful. Whether it’s a last minute prescription fill, running scripts out to car, finding cost cuts/coupons on drugs. As a mom running around with 3 little ones, they make my life so much easier and I really appreciate them :) ~Jill

Walgreens Pharmacy

Very bad service, I was very happy that they open a Pharmacy inside the complex but I’m completely disappointed. My grandmother that is 98 years old Add refills do for her blood pressure That if she doesn’t take the pill her blood pressure goes up to 200. I begged the lady to please give me the medicine because she didn’t have any for the afternoon and she said you have to wait until tomorrow or after tomorrow because he’s not ready. I begged to please give me at least the two pills until she give me the complete refill and she said no. Very nasty. Also my grandma has Medicare and Medicaid advantage and we’ve never been charged in the pharmacy for the medicine she receives and over there they charge. Lastly they don’t care if you have an emergency or not if you’re waiting all day for the medicine and they close at five they said I’m sorry we close at five we can’t do anything about it wait until tomorrow. ~carolina

Publix Pharmacy at Village Commons

Here's another pharmacy, located in Publix supermarket. Once again Services great. Management is very informative. As well as staff. They will be somewhat of a wait though, for your medications. They are extremely busy. Only because they are great pharmacist. Who take their time and concern, when it comes to filling your prescriptions. Especially controlled, and dangerous prescriptions. They really care about their customers health. Publix never stops to amaze me. This is just another addition to what Publix can do for, customers, with their wonderful departments. All the different departments, including the pharmacy are top-of-the-line. When it comes to customer service, and kindness, and service with a smile. Like the saying goes.... Where shopping is, a pleasure.... This is so true. That's the parking lot outside. Disability parking available. You can call ahead of time, and they will have your medications. You can also, request to your doctors, to call in your medications to this Pharmacy. It will only make things easier. When it comes time to pick up your medications. I hope I was helpful. And just want to take a moment out to say happy holidays to all, that are reading this review. And to your families. May you all have a blessed holiday season. This is David Lawrence signing out for right now. ~David
