7 Best gas station in Winter Haven, Florida (FL) 2024

Having been dealing with a rude white lady with blonde hair at the register for a while now and I really wish they would remove her from the register. KEEP HER AWAY FROM CUSTOMERS! Awful attitude. ~Brenda

Darlene answered my phone call. I told her that I needed help on pump #8. I am disabled. I told her that. She replied in a really rude and trashy tone that she was "not leaving the building to pump my gas!!" Then to make matters worse, she hung up on me! This was amongst the WORST customer service I've EVER received! To be rude to a person whose legs are not working and imply they're lazy... What an awful human being! The only reason I gave two stars was because a young lady named Felicity saved the day for me! I called the store again after Darlene so rudely hung up on me. Felicity answered and was as pleasant and as helpful as I could wish her to be. She came to pump gas. And when she got the message on the pump to "come inside and pay the cashier," she walked back into the building for me. She truly went out of her way to be kind and offer assistance. I'm so grateful! Especially since Darlene's mistreatment of me caused me to cry. I felt hopeless and ashamed....until Felicity made things so much better! Thanks, young lady! And perhaps Darlene could be retrained on the basics of customer service? ~Valerie

Rarely does "pay at the pump" work properly. Most times have to go into store for receipt. ~Rocky

Employee that assisted me in February seemed like I was an inconvenience for her and she was very distracted while dealing with my transaction. The moving pads were initially forgotten. When we finally got them they had been outside the location in the back. Now I'm being charged for damaged pads that were already not in new condition and had dirt? Also being charged a cleaning fee when the truck was returned in the exact same if not better condition? There was debris in it when we got it that we took care of ourselves so in essence it was returned in better condition. I'm disputing these charges.This location isn't a good representation of uhaul. Corporate office looked into my concerns and I was given a refund. I'll continue to give my business to uhaul but just not this particular location. ~Kelz

None of our cards worked at pump. Went inside to prepay and was told you can only prepay with cash .... not card. We asked her if she even cared and she said nope. ~Ann

They had terrible service. They wouldn't let my toddler use their bathroom even though I was a paying customer and their machines froze for 5 minutes while I was attempting to pay for gas. I will not be coming back to this establishment. Rude people. ~Kelsey

We are always in there. We've known the store manager since we where kids. Mr. Nick is always super kind and caring for everyone. ~bby
