Do not overbook trucks!!!!! I reserved a truck at Perrys Convenience in Athens, Ga for 9 a.m. on July 21st. I had an email confirmation of my reservation. When I arrived to get the truck the employee had the "deer in the headlights" look and did not even speak to me about a problem. She just started making a phone call. She then said she called her supervisor because the truck was rented to someone else and sent us to another location 5 miles away because they had a truck. She also said that they had left a voice message the day before for me. There was no message on my home or cell phone. Lie? Arrived at the North Ave. location to see the "deer in the headlights" look again. They did not know why we were sent there because they did not have a truck either until 2 p.m. We should've been finished with our move by 2. The manager at the North Ave location gave us a $12. discount (on paper). We had to turn the truck in after hours so when the discount did not show up on the final receipt we had no one to talk with about it. Also, after having a very frustrating day moving we did not want to answer several questions about the truck and take multiple pictures of it for returning it on the phone. Recommend not making U-Haul reservation online. Instead call the location and speak to a person. ~S

This place clearly fabricated the vehicle's final fuel level. I travelled 15 miles, put 6 gallons in the tank, and was still charged for 9 more gallons. No way that truck clocked 1mpg. This place rips you off. ~Laftur

A good first - The employees here are great. However, this is about the slowest place I’ve ever waited to deliver package. Whomever owns this store needs to step into the 21st-century and invest in a self-scanner that the customer can use for already prepared packages so they can simply drop and go. I’d rather not take an entire lunch break just to mail one item. I spend more time waiting in line at this location then both FedEx and USPS combined. ~Miles

I drive a 2002 toyota tacoma. This guy is a fantastic human being who is a great mechanic. Very rare combination. Never had a problem talking to him, great prices, medium time turn around (he's busy). The only reason this guy is getting one star reviews, I'm sure is because those people don't want to many people going there. You wish every mechanic was like this guy. We have been getting our deliveries via Estes for well over five years. Their best driver on the roster is Alan. We look forward to seeing him every week. He’s always on time, exceptionally helpful, and goes above and beyond every single time. His level of service is unparalleled. He will even pick up where other drivers may have fallen short (not taking their pallets, etc) and without a single complaint. Where others may stand back and watch us unload the pallets, he’s right in there with us - helping to unload and stack boxes and making sure they’re put where we need them. He makes sure everything is 110% before he leaves. On top of everything else, he’s very personable. He engages with all of our employees, remembers everyone by name, and brightens our day every time. He’s funny and charming and makes us all smile. To have someone deliver that level of service AND have a personality to match is a rare find. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GET GAS HERE WITH A CREDIT CARD AT THE PUMP! First the card readers are usually not functioning on the pumps. Second, I would suspect the card readers are never functioning properly on the pumps because people are installing OR trying to install skimmers to grab your credit card information. You will get no help from employees that work there....they could even be short timers in on it. Who knows?? Golden Pantry should look into this store closely. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR GAS! ~JB

Tuesday morning has to have the most eclectic mix of items that you can find in town. Everything from gourmet food items two seasonal gifts a pretty well have it all. Don't be surprised if you're walking down the aisle and you see something at 25% off the price that you saw at another big box retail store. Everything is organized in the store pretty well making things easy to find by category and the staff are friendly and always willing to help you try to find something. ~Chris
