They charged me for a tank of gas when I had proof the truck was rented to me half empty. Uhaul customer service was no help...and I never received a refund.

It took a very long time to get my truck even though I did express checkin the night before. They would only register one driver even though the website says I can have two for free. They didn’t have my blankets even though I had made my reservation two weeks before picking up the truck, I had to go to another location to pick up the blankets and pay for them in a separate transaction. The service was slow and bad, avoid this location if at all possible. The most trouble I’ve ever had renting a uhaul .

Do not overbook trucks!!!!! I reserved a truck at Perrys Convenience in Athens, Ga for 9 a.m. on July 21st. I had an email confirmation of my reservation. When I arrived to get the truck the employee had the "deer in the headlights" look and did not even speak to me about a problem. She just started making a phone call. She then said she called her supervisor because the truck was rented to someone else and sent us to another location 5 miles away because they had a truck. She also said that they had left a voice message the day before for me. There was no message on my home or cell phone. Lie? Arrived at the North Ave. location to see the "deer in the headlights" look again. They did not know why we were sent there because they did not have a truck either until 2 p.m. We should've been finished with our move by 2. The manager at the North Ave location gave us a $12. discount (on paper). We had to turn the truck in after hours so when the discount did not show up on the final receipt we had no one to talk with about it. Also, after having a very frustrating day moving we did not want to answer several questions about the truck and take multiple pictures of it for returning it on the phone. Recommend not making U-Haul reservation online. Instead call the location and speak to a person.
