7 Best gym in Chicago, Illinois (IL) 2024

Good for WEEKENDS only. Weekdays between 2-close are packed and everything is taken. But other then that good machines and clean gym. As a swimmer, and consistently swimming. It's a 3 lane pool. Small but good width for long wing spand swimmers especially butterfly. No clipping my fingers on lane lines. ~Jake

One key is a wonderful yoga studio in Ravenswood! I love the location and all the teachers I have taken classes with are truly incredible. I enjoy the playgroup yoga class with Eileen Wednesday mornings! It’s so nice to have a class that you can bring kiddos to but still get in a good practice! Eileen is an extremely skilled instructor and tailors class to the students and your needs that day. Eileen also teaches a great class Saturday mornings and I am disappointed it doesn’t have more of a following! It’s at an easy time to get to (11) and I always leave feeling so great! I also love the Friday evening instructor, Kathleen! What a wonderful way to end a busy week! My only complaints with one key would be that a lot of classes are all levels and there isn’t a consistent enough student base. Teachers there don’t really have the chance to get to know people consistently and therefore classes can sometimes be a little one note, because the teacher can only try their best to guess at everyone skill level. Unfortunately the studio is really only “open” the 15 minutes before or after a class, I feel like a receptionist or office aid would help so that people could come in and ask about the studio/ get classes without having to show up to a class specifically. ~Gina

A good place actually... There personal trainer knows what he is talking about.. As well as patient, explaining things to you without making you feel as if you're incompetent. Really wants to help you achieve your fitness goals. Pretty clean compared to most places I've been to. Which is very important. Overall the staff members, environment, is good... Parking is never a problem! As well as everything works that's supposed to work. Sinks, showers, everything.. And unlike exports, especially the one at the brickyard. They haven't kicked me out, for working out two extremely :-) they really want to see you achieve your fitness goals. And will help you strengthen as you properly healthily, consistently, as you grow. Never hating, just helping Elevate your flow.. That's what's up! ... .. ~Freddy

This is my home gym it very dirty whats so Disgusting is the women bathroom been broken since before Covid started 🤮🤢 I didn’t take pictures of the mirrors they’re always dirty as well. I just wrote this to see if management cares! Every time I let them know that there’s something broke it they said they will replace it and of course they don’t! All benches are broken. I’m sorry but I pay a membership for this gym to be so dirty! ~Cynthia

This is my favorite PF I’ve ever gone to. All the staff is always friendly and greets me and while that’s small, it means more than they know I’m sure! The facility is well maintained and cleaned. I have found that often times one of the stair master machines tends to be not working properly which can be annoying, but isn’t a big deal. I use the tanning beds and massage beds often which has become a great way to relax after my workouts. Solid gym and outstanding value for the price. ~Alejandra
