5 Best restaurant in DeKalb, Illinois (IL) 2024

We dined inside. Very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. I only wish they would go back to how they flame broiler the Whopper like they did in the late 80s. Taste hasn't been the same since. And bring bake the veal parmesan sandwich. I like this Burger King as it is easy to get too, clean, and good service. ~Christopher

It's a good place to visit. Ambience is also decent. The kitchen got closed at 9pm so we had to order food from outside. Drinks were also good. I would suggest it to be a one time visit place. Nothing so great and nothing so bad about it. ~Pranali

Came out for a drink on a Friday night with my 86 year old grandmother who has a hard time walking because she has had bad knees her entire life. When we got there the gentleman standing at the front door asked to see her I.D. and my grandmother LOVED that. He noticed her having a hard time walking and asked what her condition was and they talked for a little while and I went and had a drink. A few minutes pass by and my grandmother comes over to me crying tears of joy saying that this man offered to rehab my grandmother for FREE and he promised he could get her walking like she never has before. That was last week. Today my grandmother came over to my house and you would not believe the progress she has made. She's walking better than she ever has. This man took time out of his life to help my elderly grandmother out and we are so very thankful. I don't remember his name but I know he had a beautiful mullet. Other than that the bathrooms need some work. Nice place. ~CJ

I came to today for a chalupa for lunch, but I think I got a salad. There was hardly any meat and so much lettuce..When I asked for fire sauce the older Hispanic women ( think she was a manager) just looked at me, said nothing and practically threw the sauce at me. She is not lady or customer like! She gives off Bad vibes!! I hope they can get it together soon , it looks like there running out of food and drinks soon! And PS the website you open at 7am not 8am. Hopefully corporate can rectify those hours of operation. ~Kevin

Totally not what I expected. Food had a funny frozen, cooker, refrigerated, reheated taste. Made sense because I heard a microwave go off just before we got our food. I wouldn't call this Vietnamese food or any Asian dish. Spring roll/Shrimp tastes like it was just thawed out, no herbs or mint. The dipping sauce had too much chili flake and was overall spicy, not nutty. Beas pad thai and beef stir fry were so disappointing. Taste like soy sauce and the dipping sauce mentioned above. I hope I don't get sick. VERY limited menu, no Pho, just like 5 dishes. VERY expensive. I love supporting little, local restaurants like this but will avoid this one. ~sandra
